Both my wife, and in a later show, my in-laws, walked out of the show as it was inappropriately ineuendo-ed. We definitively did not feel it was kid friendly as advertised. Regret taking our kids to see the first part that they did see.

Oh no, I'm so sorry you had that experience. I recommend reading the page selling tickets before buying tickets in the future so that you get a warning such as:
"Content advisory: This production contains a few mild swear words, some sexual innuendo and potty humor".
It's the Addams Family - they don't go to church events.
