Obviously Sensei wouldn’t be analysing this if we had actual hard sparring footage of Tate, but Tate hasn’t given any footage like that. So people are making assumptions off of what they are seeing (which is this)

Honestly. Tates most useful skill set in his pro fights was his ability to wait for an absolutely perfect moment to modulate the speed and intensity of the fight. It’s really hard to respond to that.
I'd love to see Sensei and Tate spar. Sensei's post fight thoughts about Tate as a man and as a fighter would be great to hear.
I can guarantee Sensei thinks he's a pathetic excuse of a man. And he wouldn't be wrong.

You should react to his pro fights instead of sparring. Most of his KOs we’re by punches and it is impressive how hard he hits even though it doesn’t look like it.

Honestly Tate does this thing where he experiments and play Spars a lot for the clips of him on the internet. That’s why at times he seems like he’s making technical mistakes and he’s awkward because he’s doing what he wants and not necessarily what he’s “supposed” to do. You can see as Sensei pointed out briefly that when he’s caught out in a compromised position or in a real fight for example he reverts to his natural fighting style which is a much cleaner better footwork bouncy Karate/Taekwondo esc style.
I feel if he fights one of the Paul brothers it’s going to simply rely on who has a better game-plan and who manages to stay composed and on route to see that game-plan through.

Sensei, you should look at the end of the CZcams video titled “Mike Thurston x Andrew Tate”. Mike thurston is a fitness influncer so him and Andrew have a workout together but at the end, Andrew teaches Mike how to box. It was truly a work of art the way he was able to coach someone who knows nothing about the fight game in a patient yet intelligent manner. I would love to hear your thoughts on his style of teaching.

Both the Tates are very fast, this footage doesn't do it justice but if you watch his older fights or bag work even of late he blasts combos with good speed.

You should look for context before reacting. His friend Marcel challenged him to a sparring match for fun. Also he keeps his guard down when he is doing boxing sparring against people who don't know how to fight. When he spars his brother he resorts to using the shoulder roll since his brother can fight as well and is bigger than him.

Tates boxing in general isn’t super high level but for the CZcams scene he is very very solid and could pose lots of problems for many guys
He’s automatically not going to be that good since he’s a kickboxer. That specialization of boxing is a whole different world when it comes to purely throwing hands. Not to mention he struggles against ppl his own height. But I do agree that he’d do well enough against other CZcams boxers

Defense is easier and that’s all you need to worry about. There’s no punch you can throw in boxing that you can’t throw in kickboxing. Except now you can’t throw ANY kicks. All you can use if your two arms that means you’re either going to throw Alternately or you’re going to double up that’s it. It’s not hard to get your head out the way of a punch people over complicate it because of the risk. If your head isn’t where it was when they’re threw their last punch, they will miss their next one (until they anticipate your head movement). That’s pretty much it lol. Tate would could in and not get touched and pop everyone’s head off with a counter lol

I'm doing martial arts for 4 years, I've done both boxing and kickboxing and I've met kickboxers who would knock the living crap out of any boxer. In kickboxing it is a must to learn and master all the essentials of boxing fyi. Kickboxing is not like MMA where you can have a complete different style of fighting.

Tate brothers are good people. If you want sensi just shoot them a message for sparing session with them. All you have to do is fly over to Romania and they will pick you up they are that good.
But there is no amount of money that makes sense for him to take months out training for a fight, and if he loses than it massively damages his reputation for hustler HQ, like even 3 or 4 million in ant close to it, he would need 50 to 100 million and your just not going to get a return on that kind of money

The thing is he destroys your body. And this reduces his opponents out put. Making it easier for him to walk with his hands down.
The CZcams boxing audience is probably used to knockouts and fights where someone is completely outmatched but I feel if Tate fights a influencer it would be a fight where he wins by going the distance and wins on rounds. What experience he lacks in strict boxing will be made up by his overall fight experience and even if he isn’t the aggressor would probably Outland and outpoint whoever his opponent would be
Tate shouldn't have told people about his eye bcoz every fighter would try to strike him on that eye and they know he doesn't guard it well. I would love to see him fight in the youtube scene, you said it perfect, hes controversial and well known which is great for promoting a fight. Tate trash talking in a conference would be jokes too lol.

Honestly with these type of opponents for sparring he just looks way too confident and doesn't take his opponent seriously at all. I will say even watching that against opponents that are not on his level he is very fluent when he wants to be, and his stance switching constantly it's hard to deal with for somebody that doesn't have much experience. Especially considering he comes from a kickboxing Muay Thai background. People like KSI and Jake are not used to that they're boxing experience is not Mastered by any stretch and they're used to fighting opponents that are a lot less fluent when it comes to stand up. We will see how Jake does against Anderson

They won’t pick Tate because the risk is to great. If they lose to tate after all the trash talking about him it would destroy their career. he was a iska champ about a year ago in romania he knows the promoters there 1 guy dropped out of the fight so they called Andrew he said sure. Remember this is with smoking and drinking living the life for a couple years. He goes in on 1 week notice and ko's the guy first round remember that that guy was a low ranked but still a pro kickboxer
Tate got KO'ed in the Netherlands and went back to his 4th grade low level kickboxing league making 3 fights versus bad fighters in Romania and avoiding all the real Kickboxing greats of his era and weight class (he also did not have the level to compete in Glory Kickboxing where he then had perhaps to face killers like Luis Tavares and even Israel Adesanya and other real top kickboxers. Tate is like a soccer player playing in a Romanian club in the 4th league and thinking he is the same level and success and titles in competition as Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champion's League in the best clubs in the World.
On his channel Gabriel Varga (Glory, Bellator, WKA and ISKA Kickboxing world champion and also K-1 Kickboxer) ridicules the soso weak kickboxing level of Andrew Tate in his Gabriel Varga Dutch Guard Does Not Work Tate Video.
And Tate would lose against a Golden Glove Amateur Boxer of his weight class in Boxing.

his defense has a lot to be worked on, some basic mistakes he is making. I think with a fight he would prepare for it and improve with a good coach, possibly a bit of a style change. I don't think he is better than the top youtube boxers, but who knows. Would love to see him fight one of them

@TheHourPaq Anderson Silvas technique is leagues ahead of both Jake and Tate. From what I've seen in his fight with Chavez and sparring Anderson has no power. If he loses it will be down to not being able to hurt or knockout Jake

I think comparing Logan and ksi to Jake is unfair. Jake is the only one of the 3 that has managed to completely ko someone.... multiple times. Logan has practically lost all his fights and barely managed to rock ksi. Ksi seems to not have knock out power either, even with the 2 embarrassments he fought, he wasn't able to knock them out cold. His two opponents literally quit when they were able to keep going. I see tate winning against Logan and ksi but struggling with Jake cause Jake does have that one punch ko power.
