Stephen A acts like every player is irreplaceable and must get top dollar. Big 2nd contracts for running backs rarely work out, the number needs to be reasonable if u want team success. He's really good but never should've been drafted that high. Running backs are like cars, as soon as u drive off the lot the value starts going down. When u draft a back that high u need to be ready to compete for a title right away otherwise this great talent u used a premium pick on ends up wasting some of his best years on a team that's going nowhere. And by the time the team is good enough to be a title contender, the RB isn't the same guy anymore. They had too many holes on that team to use a pick that high on a RB in my opinion and giving him a big 2nd contract would only double down on that error. Sucks for him but backs are replaceable, happens all the time. If Saquon leaves, you'll find another back and move forward
