  • This 2009 Toyota Corolla is having a P0102 code and shutting off. In this video I show a quick and easy test to see if the mass air flow sensor is glitching.

More commonly referred to as a TAP TEST, if a heavier tap is needed, it is called a MALLETIZE TEST, cheers.
I malletized my MAF Sensor, if it did not need to be changed before, well, it does now. LOL

You mentioned being gone for a while at the end of the year. This is me, an old Mobile Diagnostician, and not all your viewers, but here is a bit of assistance to hopefully improve your channel ratings. I am only interested in videos that are on an upper-end Technical level or higher primarily, this video is fine as it is short but for example, I don't watch/annotate brake jobs and the like, again, that is me. In 2023 I show you with approximately 43 videos and I rated the overall year as 51% useful to me, I don't watch tool reviews and typical DIY straight maintenance videos. I also primarily base my initial weekly inspection of the channel on the actual TITLE of the video. to mark it in my data sheet for future viewing, so to me the title is very important. I don't watch a channel until I have a list of 5 useful titles, some channels have more than that in a week and others take a couple of months to build up. I love the 4S's, scanner, scope, service info, and schematics, I also rate channels based on a combo of these being shown in the video. I then binge-watch and annotate lots of notes with timestamps and add the video to my private custom library for future use if I get the same/similar vehicle/engine to work on, now 10s of thousands of records. Thank you for being on my weekly listings even if your yearly average is less than one per week, and half are not interesting to me. I think many possible viewers that you could pull in might be interested in channels with higher ratings based on the list of similarities to what I have mentioned, I know you cannot control what type of work rolls in and I also can imagine that editing is not easy for many content providers who are family-oriented, cheers.

Thank you so much for always taking the time to write. I try to do a little bit of everything for everyone. But like you said before between editing and recording it can get out of hand quickly. Since im only one dude and have to keep productivity flowing i can't document half the issues I run into. It'll be cool if I could have a team to do all that stuff, but im just a micky mouse small guy at the moment, lol.
