- In this video you will learn the magic loop technique to make your basic knitted beanie pattern.
K=knit
K2tog = knit 2 together
RND = round
sts = stitches
Decrease rounds are as followed
RND 1 : k8 k2tog
RND 2 : k all sts
RND 3 : k7 k2tog
RND 4 : k all sts
RND 5 : k6 k2tog
RND 6 : k all sts
RND 7 : k5 k2tog
RND 8 : k all sts
RND 9 : k4 k2tog
RND 10 : k all sts
RND 11 : k3 k2tog
RND 12 : k all sts
RND 13 : k2 k2tog
RND 14 : k all sts
RND 15 : k1 k2tog

I tried Magic Loop a good while ago, but never felt very secure with it. I especially appreciate the approach to decreasing the stitches, and finishing the beanie. It's the best I've ever seen. Thank you for the video.
