  • REVIEW VIDEO, it's just my opinion! these aren't mine, they are loaned to me for written articles and I'm totally independent to say what I like...for now???
I don't quote prices as my viewers are all over the world, ask your local shop
My primary role and full-time job is to produce written reviews but CZcams and social media is growing quickly so please follow me on Facebook, “Chris Parkin’s Shooting Sports”. Or Instagram “chrisparkin431” for regular updates on what I am using, what’s in for review? I do not organise special setups for smooth video; you get real world footage of my experiences with the products in question. I’m not paid for content or to advertise my opinion on CZcams so am free to give MY OPINION, yours may differ. Mine is based on Ten years of paid professional written reviews of shooting equipment in magazines in England, U.S. Europe and Scandinavia. I do not buy items and have no reason to say nice things about what I have invested or wasted my own income in, I just say it how I think it when I encounter it. If you like this channel and would like to help support the reviews via PayPal, please use... www.paypal.com/paypalme/chris... ...and contribute to a growing video channel with weekly updates both on reviews and advice on getting the most from your equipment. Although I have a Patreon account, it seems am awkward format with losses to you and I through their services which are not particularly appropriate to my channel so I would prefer Paypal if you are in the mood!

Love this ....sadly the price will be beyond many but I think in years to come it will be a second hand marvel but knowing this make it'll not drop that much !!
I've used the Sig Sauer system and was impressed although the reticle dot could be smaller ....I was surprised at 7mm increments at 100m. I know your footage would never be able to truly show the clarity and colour map....
I love seeing these high end models and I would guess for deer 🦌 stalking this would be a dream piece of equipment. Awesome review

Those features look really cool, then I looked up the price. As a young dad with a mortgage, maybe not haha.

If you could add a pard, but looks like you can’t with that eye bell, then it would make a perfect fox control at night scope

i wonder. Do you need to keep the bluetooth linked yo your phone or when you set it up you can leave your phone at home.

Very cool. Maybe not 40 oz cool, but very cool.

Wow, very cool. After playing with a number of Sig BDX/Sierra 3 and Sierra 6 systems, I was wondering how long until the laser range finder gets added in. This is definitely the next evolution of that. Love that the windage bars show up as well. Do wish it went past 1300 meters. Did you test it further? Or is it limited by the ballistics calc inside it? Like the Sierra 3/6 BDX system is limited to 800 yards, unless you pair it with a Kestrel device as the one built in is Applied Ballistics light... and not the full AB engine.

Hello: are you enjoying your Sig Sauer BDX system? Did you shoot past 800 yards with Kestrel? Thinking of investing in Kilo8K and Sierra6BDx 5-30X56. Just casual long-range shooting. Thanks.

ds actually been on market for quite a while, first gen is from 2018 if memory servs. range finding depends on daylight and surface, longest reading i get is 1500m. depends on caliber some round will drop off below your image, or give up calculating.

Great bit of kit, but for that money I'll stick to using Strelok pro

Hello, One month ago I have buy ds 5-25x52 ds gen II. I`m really happy with riflescope on day time. But in evening and dark time this riflescope is not possible to use.
IT MUST KNOW EWERYONE - SWAROVSKI DS JUST DAY TIME OPTIC!
And ones more.... DS gen II very bad working Bluetooth with Android devices. You can one time connect to DS device and transfer dates, each other time you must take out battery before dates transferring. Its absolutely crazy for such expensive device !

light transmission is bit low since you have two prism in line for display and ranging laser...... bluetooth I used my motorola edge without problem so can be phone issue

      You are talking total garbage.
I have been using a Swarovski DS for 4 years now, it is not just a day time optic, I use my scope professionally in my work and have shot hundreds of deer at night with it.
So after 1 month of ownership you feel you are qualified to review the DS.
      Get real

I rigged a DSLR camera behind it but it was a bit bulky and only used for the purposes of this film and hard to hunt with it attached

83% light transmission rate!? Come on Swaro, do better on a 40mm, $3500 scope. You would think for it being ZCO category expensive that they could have mustered their powers of perfection to produce something a touch better than the transmission rate of a Generation 1 Vortex Razor.

Accept with multiple extra lens packages for the light to transfer through you trade ultimate transmission for alternate functionality
