I spent $81.79 at the Hobby Lobby Clearance Sale

Every year Hobby Lobby has a 75% off sale on select items.
They usually start their mark downs in June. If you haven't and are interested, I suggest calling your local HL before heading there. I went on Thursday 6/6, when I saw the first HL clearance video, but they hadn't started the mark downs.
I got 45 items and paid $81.79 ^-^ I'm happy.
I would have saved 100% if I didn't buy anything but... here we are :)

I missed the sale at the one Hobby Lobby I went to. I saw the empty spaces.

That’s why I left yarn behind so the people who came after me could feel happy 😊

Wow! Amazing haul! I thought they weren't going to do these sales anymore. They really shrunk the yarn selection and last year the sale was in March. I missed that too, because I was expecting it in June🤔. When June came last year, I met Bath & Body Works. They won all my money this June lol😂😂! Can't wait to see those spins!🤩

Those Showstoppers are a great Deal! They didn’t have that colors of the sugar wheels marked down at our store. Hmm I really wish I would’ve gotten more spinesse😂 especially in the blue. Soo pretty. Not too shabby! Thank you for sharing your haul☺️
The Spinesse is interesting to work with its very weird to take out of the skein I caked it up to work with it and it’s very sticky if that makes sense at all 😂 its almost like it’s fighting me 🤣

You are allowed to buy all the yarn you want. It is marked down because the store wants to get rid of it asap.
You dont need to feel guilty for buying all you want, all you can use. :)
Any yarn that doesnt sell very fast may just get thrown away. What a waste.
The yarn is there to buy for whomever wants to buy it.
I understand the mindset of wanting to leave some for others, but few people are yarnies like we are and not that many people are going to your particular store. If people really want the clearance they will be there asap. If the aisles arent full of people all buying clearance, go for as much as you want and can use.

Glowing would work well in a mosaic project. My store didn’t have clearance yet.
What I’ve noticed is they are marketing down slowly if the Glowing isn’t marked down yet it should be soon
I also got a few Yarn Bees Glowing - they do not seem to be selling , so maybe … possibly … lol

I’m so disappointed in Hobby Lobby and rarely shop there anymore. They’ve become more of a Home Goods store and hardly a hobby/craft store. They now carry mostly towels, pet items, collectibles and home decor. Their craft dept has gone downhill and it’s really so sad. At least the ones by me have.
That’s my experience too. They have seriously downsized their yarn department. 🫂 It’s sad 😔
