Myocarditis and coronavirus vaccines: Explaining the rare side effect

  • Myocarditis can be a side effect of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines, but studies show that rare heart complications are more likely to occur as a result of coronavirus infections than as a vaccine side effect. In fact, coronavirus patients have 16 times the risk for developing myocarditis, compared to people who are uninfected, according to CDC data released in September.
The Food and Drug Administration authorized booster shots of Pfizer-BioNTech’s coronavirus vaccines for 16- and 17-year-olds on Dec. 9, after analyzing data that shows a link between myocarditis and the mRNA vaccines for male adolescents and young men.
Harlan Krumholz, a cardiologist at the Yale School of Medicine, said that in addition to the vaccines being highly effective at preventing coronavirus infections, they also provide protection from illnesses linked to the virus, including myocarditis.
“These are highly effective vaccines in preventing covid itself, and that provides a lot of offsetting benefits,” Krumholz said. Read more: wapo.st/3GIH4P2. Subscribe to The Washington Post on CZcams: wapo.st/2QOdcqK

But thank you for being considerate 🙏🏼They’re a lot better now, but 1 of the 2 brothers will unfortunately never be the same. He’s had to be rehabilitated for the past 2 years. It’s beyond sad. He has to have assisted care every single day. Can’t control one side of his body. In a wheelchair, can’t walk. Couldn’t talk for about an entire year. When it first happened, he couldn’t communicate at all and they thought he would never talk again. Was placed into a medically induced coma. Finally after several months, he started communicating just by moving his fingers. The ABSOLUTE WORST part of it is he had the stroke while he was 9ft up on a ladder working on his house. Had the stroke and fell off, and then busted the whole side of his head and had to have 2 skull repair surgeries and many many staples. The Dr had to go in and cut a 5inch by 3 inch part of his skull out to relieve swelling on his brain. They cut him open and “stored” the piece of skull in his stomach so it wouldn’t “die” so they could later put it back in. His entire side of his head was indented in from the skull not being there. Then after the brain swelling went down, they went in and “reinstalled” the piece of skull, with high hopes that his body wouldn’t reject it (thank god it didn’t). He had a lot of surgeries. And 2 surgeries on his stomach just to store and then remove the piece of skull. Vaccines are no joke. I can’t tell you how much he regrets getting that jab.. I guarantee if most people saw what he went through, they’d never get it. 🚫💉

You were correct to be skeptical of the criminals in power but you were WRONG about not taking any vaccines. The side effects only occur in those who took the mRNA vaccines not in those who took the traditional DNA ones. Covid was real and dangerous, the incompetent criminals in power simply rushed a dangerous solution that hadn't been properly tested. mRNA vaccine technology is relatively new and has not been tested extensively for the long term. Thankfully our family doctor was competent and educated enough to warn us not to take the untested mRNA vaccines and to go for the traditional DNA ones to be on the safe side.

Sorry to hear that. It hurts to have to stop working to support yourself and your family. The mere fact that one event follows another isn't proof of causation. Here's what CDC says: Most patients with myocarditis or pericarditis who received care responded well to medicine and rest and felt better quickly. Patients can usually return to their normal daily activities after their symptoms improve. Those who have been diagnosed with myocarditis should consult with their cardiologist (heart doctor) about return to exercise or sports. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
I hope that he gets well. CDC is monitoring the situation through VAERS and hopefully your uncle's doctor reported his diagnosis through that. You know that CDC modified their vaccine recommendations after 9 cases of clotting disorders were reported out of over 7 million doses of J&J were administered. Vaccines are not perfect- but these are very good and protective against this pandemic virus that has resulted in 5,331,019 deaths, reported to WHO. (from their dashboard just now)

@@jamescash887 That's true, but there is still even less of a chance that anything serious will happen if you get the vaccine, and in addition, it is just factually proven to reduce the duration and severity of infection with covid-19. This means that there is much less opportunity for the virus to spread, thereby reducing the odds of anything serious happening to anyone else. It may be a slim chance overall, but it's greater than a 1% chance, and if you infect 100 people, then statisitically, at least one of those people will not make it through the illness. So, it is obviously better in every conceivable way to be vaccinated. But, hey, if the only people who are not vaccinated are the people who believe it is a vast conspiracy, then we aren't losing any of the best minds society has to offer, so as long as they mostly keep to themselves, all is well.

This report does not represent all potential risks for myocarditis. Since the CDC does not requires aspiration when vaccine is delivered, there is a risk that the vaccine is delivered to a significant blood vessel and not the less significant blood vessels in a muscle. The injection is supposed to be intramuscular, but unless the needle is not pulled back to observe blood or not, we don’t know whether a major blood vessel was injected into. There are receptors on the heart for vaccine which are impacted with an intravenous injection of the vaccine. It could be much more likely that those people including very young who have little muscles, are more likely to get an intravenous injection which sends the vaccine to the heart. This is being discussed much in the UK.

I'm appalled that people take this side effect like it's no big deal. Can't be serious. This is a major issue

I would say it is the MAIN effect. You know they call it a "side effect". so they can brush it under the carpet, like its not a big deal.

One month after my second shot of Pfizer vaccine I started having accute upper chest pain, right in the inner part of my torax. This pain spreaded at times to my left arm and it was like asleep, more intensely after doing physical work. I stopped totally from exercising, because of the weakness and all the strange sensations I started experiencing, I couldnt run 10 meters without a sensation of having been running for kilometers. Before the vaccine I was used to regular and intense exercise (60 minutes daily or more, both strenght and cardiovascular exercise) after the vaccine I stopped completely.

A guy i ran with is now unable to run. He mocked me for my.....views.
The mocking has since stopped, along with his running. He was strong enough too; broke the 20 min 5k in mid 2020. So sad that all this is being supressed.
