Ancient Woodland Indicators

In this video our Principal Ecologist Sue Searle will talk you through how to identify various ancient woodland indicator plants. Although ancient woodland indicators can often grow in proliferation outside of woodlands, it is when you find 10 or more of these indicators in a woodland that could indicate it is ancient and therefore very special.
