Completely unrelated, but the Amber Colossal's name just dropped in the latest MSM short. It's "Dulcitea" from what I can deduce, although the spelling may be off.
Wonder if that means the fire colossal conundrum may be coming soon

This makes perfect sense. We've been seeing more of an emphasis on both the Magical Islands lately as well as the Mirror Dimension, so it follows that Mirror Magical Islands might be what they were building up to.

Whatâs very weird of this era of MSM is we donât know what to expect. When Haven released, we expected the return of the Fire monsters which was cut off by the surprise of the Magicals. After that, we got brand new class islands for the Seasonals, Fires, and Mythicals. Prior to Workshop and Nexus, it was hard to imagine whatâd come next and weâre running out of new island concepts using pre-existing monsters. The only one I can think of using monsters we already know of is Colossal Island or Quad island, the latter seeming unlikely. Itâs both unfamiliar and exciting to see the wider potential of new classes, new islands with new mechanics, and even new island expansions.
Also can we just appreciate how Riles never fails to cook
I mean, technically we have gotten a new Class since the Magicals, with Aux. Seasonals.
I personally consider DreaMythical its own Class, but those monsters are technically just part of the Mythical Class.
But Aux. Seasonals are technically just Seasonals by that logic?

Not long ago I made my own monster class called "Interstellar" which was also monsters from space, however the monsters I made we're for the natural island, not magical

Maybe the mirror magic islands would have the reverse elements of its normal counterpart so we see the hybrid magicals we never got
(What i mean by hybrid magicals are ones with magic and natural/fire elements)
It would be really expensive but I mean the whole point of mirror islands is to make zapping easier and be able to get more resources

honestly, the mirror magical islands could just be their respective element plus the other three natural elements not used within them, but with those elements replicating the original song in its own way

It could make sense for magical elements to not have affinities simply because of their cosmic origins, so unless connected to outer isles their âaffinityâ simply never came to the monster world

thinking about it, i feel like the 5 remaining monster elements (other than seasonals) match with the 4 magical islands (and to a lesser extent the dof outer islands) pretty well
light (and party) - celestial or legendary
psychic (and space) - dream
faerie (and cloud) - mythical
bone (and cave) - dipster
i know that the remaining 5 elements arenât connected to each other the way the ethereal elements are (except for dream and mythical) and that mythical and celestial already have islands themed around them, so it most likely isnât the case, itâs just interesting cause i feel like they really do fit each magical element type. plus a dipster themed mirror island would be really fun to see

Random theory but
Zarroe is the colossal for ethereal island AND ethereal workshop because as you can see on EW, they have three eyes, and on the ethereal island itself, thereâs some extra eyes. What if zarroe wanted to experiment with the traveling and the rift and stuff, that they built a whole new island (EW) and kind of split into both??
...you know ethereal workshop is INSIDE ethereal island, right?
Ethereal Workshop is like Zarroes brain. That's why both of them have 3 eyes, because they're the same colossal

I dont see the Fire Islands getting a Supernatural element since Wubbox already exist in Fire Haven and soon to be in Fire Oasis, but the Magicals should be the ONLY ONES to get mirror variants.
Why would wubbox go to fire oassis? Fire oassis is just for bonus fire monsters and so far wubbox has been on islands that are collosals besides wublin but it is their because it is the creator and the wubbox is their to help the collosals and fire oassis isn't a collosal heck it isn't even a titan it is a fake collosal
That makes zero sense what does Wubbox being on Haven have to do with anything when Ghast is on both regular and mirror Plant.

Something I think would be cool for the mirror islands would be like a reimagining of the original five islands.
Since theyâre so old, they are significantly lower quality than newer islands. More basic sounds and rhythms. If the mirror islands were updated to be like âold islands if they were made todayâ that would be awesome.
what would be cool is if the magical islands could have their own class of "ethereal" monsters that function like the natural islands ethereals. imagine if brand new single element monster classes for each magical island, tha can be teleported to a unique place, making the magicals even closer to their own fully fleshed out class

I think that maybe instead of the ooze caused by the rift, there could potentially be a new kinda of ooze type thing that is caused by the prism gate

I disagree with the new names for the elements, though; I think they'd be more direct and just call them "Party", "Space", "Cloud" and "Cave"
Another lil' something I'd like to add is... what if we got a new DoF island? Not a regular outer island, but maybe something taking place in the pocket dimension... the Ethereals are one of the few classes we know existed back then, after all...
Maybe we could get a Mirror Magical Sanctum based off of that??

I made a fanmade island (that i haven't released) called Food Island, and there's a new monster class, the Munchars!
Fun Fact: Glowbes are the only monster in the 'Spectral' Class, so the Spectral element should have a different name.
I think if a Mirror class got added, it would work less like the magical elements and more like the mythical element, were its all the same element, but different combos give you different monsters
MPG went overboard with this theory, I'm genuinely really excited for this to happen!
When I was getting back into MSM after a long time I thought the ethereal celestials were for the magical elements until I wondered what Vhamp was supposed to be
If we actually get more mirror islands, that would be amazing! There would be many benefits including more coin production, diamond mines, and breeding structures to help fill inventories faster!
I think we'll be seeing ffidyll boo'qwurm whiz-bang and clavavera in dawn of fire only available in the outer islands, that would make alot of sense, because we don't know anything more about the four seasonals or know their backstory, and since the outer islands where the magical islands
What if the mirror magical islands are in a different time, and you can transfer the magical to the its respective mirror island and it would be a past/future form of said monster? Just an idea tho

Mirror islands are basically resource islands, so i hope they dont add any exclusive monsters. (Also, they will probably cost relics)
TLDR: If they make a new class I hope itâs island uses a new mechanic instead of teleport and breed.
Personally if they were to make a new class, Iâd hope that their Class Island wouldnât just use the same âTeleport and Breedâ mechanic, as weâve already seen that done so many times before.
MSM seem to be in this whole new era of new mechanics and new ways to get monsters with Workshop and Nexus, and Iâm absolutely loving it!
Imagine in if on this new Mirror Class Island, the Mirrornauts had to travel through a mirror to get there, and then once there use some new mirror-structure to create reflections of each of the 11 (5 natural and 6 new) mirror islands.
For example, one new monster would be a reflection of mirror Plant Island/Grenitch. Or it could be a reflection of Potbelly, Entbrat or Ghazt. Or even a symbolic reflection of the island itself.
This would also fulfill another huge fan request of multi-class hybrids, with each new monster being either Natural and Ethereal/Supernatural or Magical and Mirrornaut elements. E.g. *Mirror Plant Monster* would be *Plant and Plasma element.*
This would also come out to the perfect 15 common monsters.
This comment is definitely too long haha but I just wanted to give my ideas.

I'd mainly like to have mirror magicals/fires to facilitate more efficient breeding for those monsters. Elder Celestials are coming. They will surely have Needs.
What if the Mirror Island monsters were like made of that weird purple goop that's on them? And partially monster like fur or plant and stuff?

Correction: The Magicals came out in 2019 not 2017
While this is a fun idea, it would not work for a phew reasons, fire haven was never a part of the continent, after the continent split, that's when fire haven formed, fire oasis is just a structure, not a potential mirror island, and while the magical islands are linked to the mirror islands, the mirror magical islands can't exist without ethereals, which won't work either, the magical islands were made to bring in new monster classes, making new ethereal monsters on those magical islands would just be bringing back an original class, and destroy the magical islands purpose, so more mirror islands might not happen.

Mpg never said that this update would come quickly or anything. It could come next year or the year after that and so on. Mpg never said anything about releasing very soon. If something this big was coming it will probaby come in 2026 or something like that.
Maybe we could get new fire ethereals bred by natural ethereals. The fire ethereal will get its own class just like kayna
