Il DO extra acuto è una opzione, facile per il compianto Pavarotti. Da spartito, in chiave di SOL, il tenore arriva al massimo sul FA acuto. Qui si è tenuto ancora più sotto, forse per dare maggiore risalto al SI extra acuto del soprano. Se fosse, non sarebbe l'unico.

I prefer the tenor to sing the end as written, which he does here. It sounds so much better. Trust Puccini!
