Both my a7iii and a7siii do that recover thing anytime I try and hook up my phone if there are fresh photos/videos on it. Once it jumps out I simply do it again and it connects to my android phone.
I do have another bug. After taking photos for a while, camera hangs and Aperture ring starts moving frantically from f2 to f4. Only way to get out of that loop is by removing battery. Turning OFF power won't help.
Hi, I tried updating the firmware, the program "system software updater" crashes on macbook M1 after asking for password. Did not prompt me for any permissions issue. Any TIPS??
I saw at the display of System Firmware Updater that it could not find the camera. I have that same problem and cannot get around this. Any idea? thanks
it connects to my phone, but i can see that it turns on off, on off, on off...and then disconnects alltogether...i checked from creators app tooo...same...it says 'found' then 'connected' then found, connected, disconnected, connected, disconnected...then "not found"....
I keep getting a "Couldn't connect camera", even though the camera actually shows up in the Finder and I can access the cards with no problem. I used the Sony cable and also tried probably 10 different other cables but nothing, any suggestion?

This before and after the upgrade? Did you try a different memory card?

@@adryanno So I had to use a friends Windows machine to then install it from there. Took 20 minutes but got it done to 2.01.

@@MR-AK It worked! Big up man!
Doesn't work for me. Pop up keeps coming up: must load Sony driver software on my. computer before doing this. Didn't see this mentioned in the video
What cable are you using? Also did you set the camera to the right usb settings?
