I've always told people that. Wayne's been rapping for 20 years and has a ridiculous amount of songs and projects out there. He may not be the same Weezy from his prime years, but trying to spit something that you haven't already during your 20 year span has to be damn near impossible, but somehow he manages to do it.

Because Wayne signed a contract with Cash Money and so since he signed the contract, Birdman owns the rights to the name Lil Wayne. Wayne can't put anything out without Birdman giving him the green light to release it as far as main singles, features, guest spots, or full EP/albums go. He can release mixtapes as much as he wants, (ie; S4tW2, NC2, D6) because they're free and he can distribute them from his own record label, Young Money. Basically, he can't release anything without permission from Birdman if it can bring in money for Wayne. & if you want to know why Birdman won't let him release Carter V, it's because Wayne said he would retire after & Birdman knows if Wayne retires, he won't make any more money off of Wayne.
