I went to the local market in Siem Reap in Cambodia and I checked out the prices of the jewellery shops and design shop. I found out the prices of the gold, silver and platinum . I did buy the necklace and fixed my ring at the design shop. It was super cheap and good. Thanks so much for watching this video

Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. Phnom Penh, its capital, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum's historical and archaeological exhibits. In the country's northwest are the ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire.
Siem Reap, a resort town in northwestern Cambodia, is the gateway to the ruins of Angkor, the seat of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th-15th centuries. Angkor’s vast complex of intricate stone buildings includes preserved Angkor Wat, the main temple, which is pictured on Cambodia’s flag. Giant, mysterious faces are carved into the Bayon Temple at Angkor Thom.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walkable riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants and bars, are the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, displaying artifacts from around the country. At the city’s heart is the massive, art deco Central Market.

@@camelotenglishtuition6394 Wow why even use gold if you are to do 9 karat, pretty much all the gold properties are gone at that point and it will even tarnish due to too much other metals. 18 is nice.

UE my gut tells me that Siem reap will get an Aeon Mall in 2 years. The question is where they will put it. I'm thinking it will be closer to the new international airport. There will be 4 hubs, Ankor Way, pub street, the new airport and Aeon Mall. Your thoughts on Siem reap in 3 years?

Plateen is not platinum. Platinum value is above gold. Plateen is anything 18K gold and under.
Where did you go? I went to the gold stores in Phnom Penh and they were expensive. Maybe it’s bc I’m not Khmer but if I had known I wouldn’t have came to Cambodia.

Most Cambodians invest in 24 karat gold jewelry. Some Cambodian Americans invest in bullion, but mostly pure gold jewelry.

Not platinum. I don't know why they sell it as platinum because it would be easier to sellit as gold, since it's a fake anyways, but at least the colour would match
Khmers call gold leafed Jewelry 'platin', and I guess she just didn't fully understand what 'platinum' actually means in English and just used that word to describe Platin. So its probably just bronze that is gold leafed, 145$ sounds like an appropriate price.
@@olegslapins8156 They sell it as 'Platin', which means 'gold leafed jewelry' in Khmer. Platinum is just coincidentally a similar word that she misused in the video.
