My god, I'm watching this and spontaneously broke into applause at the sight of Merrill Reese doing his intro. Totally subconscious. He's been a part of the Eagles experience for my entire life, he's one of Philly's treasures.

Rewatching this 2 years later, hard to believe it’s been 2 years already. 37.5 years of my life I waited for this... I was 1 when they lost to Oakland. I traveled to Jacksonville at 25 to sadly watch them lose, but I got to watch them win with my 4 and 8 year old sons, so it was all worth it. And some may say I’m biased, but that is by far the most beautiful super bowl ring ever and will be hard to top!
I waited 45 years myself, started watching the eagles at 5 and was 13 when we lost to Oakland

I’ve been an Eagles fan as long as I’ve watched sports, and I can tell you I’ll never love a team the way I loved that team. They can win more titles, but I can never love another team like that again. I miss that season and I was sad to see it end, but am more than happy it ended in Super Bowl victory!!

Congrats Eagles fans, I'm a diehard Pats fan, lived in NE all my life. My best friend growing up was a diehard Eagles fan and him and I would watch games together all the time. He's no longer with us but I could hear his "YEEAAHHHHhh" he'd make at every Eagles TD, at the end of that game. Watching games with him throughout the late 70's and 80's made me appreciate players like The Rev. Reggie White, Randall Cunningham, there were lots of great players in Philly. I'll always have a spot in my heart for this team because he was such a great friend, I mean we would mercilessly tear each other down during these games but, hey what happens on gameday stays at gameday. I think that was part of why we were such good friends, cause we could hurl some of the most demeaning shit at each other and laugh about it later.
Anyway, I gotta say at the beginning of the year I was a little bummed out that LG went to you guys and then I realized Long went there too, Knowing the kind of player he is and combined with Cox and Dawkins, it was inevitable we'd be seeing you guys in this SB. LaGarret is a one of a kind player man, he brings that underdog kinda chip and he seems to come out on top more than not. I'm happy for him! 3 Rings! I watched Wentz all year, my son and I were enamored with him. When he stepped out of that sack against Washington! Holy shit, that should go down as one of the greatest plays by any QB. As much as it sucked that Wentz went down,(That was another, here we go again moments for Philly I'd say) I was happy for Foles, the guy never seems to get the good breaks, but hey he pulled it all together.
I'll never believe in the "Philly Special" though, I mean we ran it a few plays before you and in a regular season game a while back. Chris Collingsworth is the worst game announcer evah. Still, it was a great play, just calling it that though?? ..no. You guys were better than that, there was no need to try and give it some hooky friggin name, I mean shit you guys were in a shootout with Tom Fuckin Brady and won! What the hell was Collinsworst thinking!?!
Anyway, As a fan base, there is no better feeling than that first Super Bowl win! I think that Philly is one of those teams that's always been there and deserved one. So Congratulations Phillidalphia.

Been A Eagles Fan since I was 8 watching and learning to Understand the game of football. Playing madden with my uncle who’s a diehard Bears fan. Till this day, I’m now 24, he still asks me “why are you an Eagles fan?” And I told him, the Eagles are like the cubs, they’re always good, just never great. We always had the talent. Just luck wasn’t on our side at times. There’s just something about cheering for a team, that the fans are apart of the team too! Living outside Chicago, rooting for the Cubs and the Eagles.
Remembering growing up, how much Time I took to learn the names of the players, at each position, learning the coaches. (RIP JIM) Remembering how awesome Brian Dawkins (Weapon_X) was. Still missing the awesome DB combo of Lito and Sheldon. I know I don’t got an awesome “philly story” but man, I was definitely going just as nuts as anyone else in Philadelphia that night! I was able to finally shut my whole family up, and got them to witness what a great Philadelphia Eagles Team Looked like... WE FUCKING BEAT THE PATRIOTS! 🤣

This ring is just beautiful, to say the least . This team played the whole year for it, that's why they got it. Thank you Eagles organization for this. I've been waiting years to see it. We have the most passionate fans. We have the best team. We have the best head coach. And we have the best owner in the NFL, and he deserves this trophy and ring.
A new dynasty is on the horizon. This will be just one of many I think. Eagles the Super bowl Champions. We won't stop at one.
I did good to not cry watching this but when they moved that trophy down that aisle after the win, my eyes were blood shot red. This is too special!

As a philly native born when the eagles won their first national championship against the Packers and waited and waited and had my heart broken for the next half century...We fans should get a ring too! Edit; 6 months later, the day after the lucky win in Chicago...I would love to see another Ring design...Maybe instead of the Football diamond...A Cheese steak shaped diamond with yellow diamonds to simulate fried Onions ...:)

I want the eagles year book so bad, I don’t ever want to forget the members on this team, this where it starter might not mean much 50 years from now but this year is when the eagles won their first super bowl ring, I supported chip kelly but all the credit goes to Doug Pederson, I’m not giving any credit to chip, no disrespect to him just being honest when I remember the Philly special that play is probably the most memorable that play shows how much of a team the eagles really is if you think about it.

I thought the NFL uses a jeweler. But it make sense to use these guys since rings are what they do.

The only one they don't make is the NHL, they use Tiffany's.

@@theroachden6195 I know I’m late to the party but Jostens does make NHL rings. You can see them on their site. Jostens has a lock on NFL rings and have made a sizeable portion of the super bowl rings but each year in each league, the winning team is free to pick whoever they want to make the rings. Jostens just hasn’t cornered the market in the other leagues. I think their second most is baseball. Then hockey. The one they trail the most in is the NBA.
