What a perfect little place
I went to the aroid show and brought back 11 plants. You can put your small ones in an open box for carry on and if you get a large one like I did (mexicanum) you can have the nursery box it and check it in as luggage for 30$ 🥰

Holy smokes, the prices on those hoyas were absolutely eye-watering. In Europe all three of those are pretty decently priced, only the Bella is a little more rare, but even that can be bought from other enthusiasts on a marketplace for ~10 dollars per cutting with several leaves. In exchange tho, something like Chelsea is basically non-existent and I had to spend ~40 dollars for a two leaf cutting. Or an Obovata, I've never seen a whole pot of it on sale everywhere, just max. 6 leaves or something.
Fascinating! I love hearing about plant prices depending where we live.

I think I said WoW every time you did. That coffee shop was cute especially the outdoor seating area. The rare plant shop had so many wonderful plants. People in that area are so lucky to have a shop like that.

My nephew lives in orlando & I used to live there but there were. I houseplant places then.
I used to have a nice garden.
Anyway; I can’t remember all the ones but that succulent place!.,?!?! I would of certainly walked out with. Issues discolor basket but there we’re MAny gems. Like probably something variegated too.

I love the chickens and my goodness the diffenbachia 'selby' on the back patio of the first place you visited was dreamy! The high prices I kinda get but they do bug the bejesus out of me. I usually give away any albo cuttings I take from mine. I like to cause chaos in the plant markets :D

Ooooh I love Silver Sword I just bought my 3rd one I couldn’t help myself the 1st 2 were 8.00 each and the 3rd was a part of buy 3 plants for 10.00. The 3 were a Philodendron Xanadu a Stag horn Fern and the Silver Sword. I’m about to repot it today the roost are bursting at the seams.
Dang that Succulents Empire was the bomb-diggity. I'll add that to my list of places to go on my fantasy Florida plant-shopping trip!

If you're ever in the area of central Florida again there's a shop called E.F.G. Orchids in Deland and its my favorite place! Its almost like a mystical jungle full of all sorts of fun plants!

Plant heaven for sure! I love watching your videos because the plant variety, prices and shear beauty. Here in Alaska it’s so hard to find house plants, even the ones you’d consider common are uncommon for us and very very pricey. Just paid $30 for a little 4 inch pot of Micans, but it’s been on my list for a long time and pretty hard to find here. I don’t know what I’d do to find such big, gorgeous plants at such reasonable prices! Soo so lucky for those who live close to these places

I would love to have a Cebu Blue. Hoya’s were a good choice. I really enjoy my Hoya’s and want more of them. I love the variegation and the splashing on the leaves. Thank you for taking us a long.
I keep looking at Lowe’s and Home Depot hoping they will get Cebu Blue and Hoya’s in that I don’t have. But I have found a few Hoya’s at Walmart and I have gotten them when I find them. One couple plant shops I go to regularly have Hoya’s sometimes but I either have that Hoya already or it’s out of my price range I’m willing to pay. Love the video. Thank you

Keep them in your ikea cabinet. I have the khoniana green splash and silver and the silver has turned almost white under the grow light. I keep them in coco coir husks, pumice and spag moss then fertilize 1xmonth. The huesklalima (spell check failed me) grows ready quick. I got one your size in May and have made 6 plants from it. I keep under the grow light and the leaves turn hot pink. The cabinet helps a lot. I would have got the Serpens for sure since they are harder to find. Enjoy your new plants

I could go nuts in the Hoyas for sure. I love Hoyas so much and I’m very limited on what is available here. But I found a private collection about a hour away I’m going to check out after the holiday the person invited me to her home to select some I want. So I’m excited about it. The other one is the philodendron genevievianum I’m about to get it hopefully this week from a private collection also. Fun video for sure.

Most of the really high-price 'rare' plants don't excite me that much but if I had the money I would have gone for the variegated Monstera peru, I just love how reptilian the leaves look.
