Why do I use two different types of resin in my projects?
I use a casting resin to cast and a doming resin for doming.
Casting resin is usually low in viscosity and works very well in molds without much issue with the bubbles. Also the low viscosity will allow the resin to reach detailed area of the mold. Doming resin is thick in viscosity and holds its shape very nicely. It creates a full dome and tends to hold the surface tension much better than low viscosity resin. So lower risk of the resin dripping off the sides. It also gives the piece a smooth, flawless finish.

For some reason when you showed the thin base of the cauldron my brain was like “flip it upside down and put more resin on the bottom.” And then you just poured more resin in the inside instead 😅 d’oh, of course that makes sense 😂😂

When I saw you upgrading the cat on the lamp I thought you are about to make shiny cauldron. That would be cool. Or some Haloween themed decorations that would glow in the dark :D
Actually the green stuff on the cat caldron is glow in the dark. Just didn’t show it on camera

I leave it for the recommended time for the uv resin I’m using which is 1-2min

How much was the box
It costs $35 for the kit. This includes shipping. The kit only had the small cauldron mold. If you wanted the large cauldron mold, you had to pay additional $15.
