- Here I'll show you how to upload a custom image for your Tundra radio screen. This is how you can upload your own images to be seen on the Tundra's radio screen. It can be a little tricky, but if you follow my video, it's pretty simple.

What is the button to the left of the USB that says camera front and back? Was this an option? Curious.
I have a 2020 Platinum and my screen is a different design and configuration than the 2018. I also cannot find settings for Customize Startup Image or Screen Off Image. I did find the “Off Screen” setting, however.
Nope…you can’t customize the screen image on the 20😑
Will this work with a 2013 Tundra Limited?
Can you change the image of the initial (Toyota logo) to a pic. Not the start up or screen off. And can you delete the next warning screen that comes up.

What year tundra did you do this on. Different settings in my 2021 tundra. No option for start up or off screen that I can see

Does not work on 2021. I’ve tried several times to get it to work, but there isn’t even an option😢

Hi Rob, my image converter does .jpg and jpeg. I searched for the difference, but it says they are basically the same. does it matter which format I use, when either one are still called jpegs?
I couldn’t get it to work with the .jpg extension.
@@RobMotive Hi Rob, I wonder if other resolutions other than 855x 530 would wrk. After all, Toyota specs say it is a high resolution screen. But I searched and cannot find specs on the 8 inch screens actual resolution. Fit to screen resizing usually works best when you know what your working with on the screens resolution so u get the best for to screen image AT THE HIGHEST RESOLUTION POSSIBLE.
I’m sure there’s a better option. This is just the one I found that works😬

I guess what I'm saying is, having too many pictures in the folder won't overload it while transferring the images to pick ftom?

RobMotive beside the usb hookup there is a camera icon with front and back above and below the camera. What is this?
That was an anytime aftermarket camera I installed. Both front and rear👍
On the 2020's I can't find this option. I think it won't work any longer. This is on a limited, with the JBL premium package.

I translated your video for my cousin in my language because he bought a brand new 2019 Tundra 1794 edition . And hes not successful in changing the Radio Image . 2019 doesn't have the screen which you are showing . Will try tomorrow morning .
That’s odd🤔. My Tundra is a 2019. Maybe he has the upgraded radio in his 1794 and it doesn’t have this option.

Not sure when Toyota went with this radio. Just have a look at your screen options to see if you have the option👍

Gotta make sure it’s named exactly correct. Also that you saved the pics as .jpeg files.
