Most important point you didn't mention, dear Swizz: with Tobii you don't get to strap on gizmos and stuff to your head or face or even require a headset. That alone is for me the best sales pitch line for the Tobii, and I've ordered mine already.

I've had the Tobii eye for a few weeks now (before that I tested the IR tracker 5). They are both very similar but I'd say for MSFS the hat goes to Tobii Eye. You can track your eyes plus your head movements. I found I had WAYYY more freedom of movement with the Tobii Eye as it tracks your body and not a reflective sensor you need wear on a hat or the side piece you have to wear with headphones (tried them both). Also, with Trackr5 If I wanted the camera to move I had to actually move my head. When looking at overhead switches I found myself having to tilt my head back and look down with my eyes to see the screen. With Tobii eye I didn't. Plus I have WAY more freedom of movement cause I'm not attached to a wire or range of a sensor like with the Trackr5. All this being said, they both do have limitations. I do still have to use my mouse to adjust my view (but more in a fine tune way) or to adjust my view so I'm not looking oddly down while adjusting say the airplane's flight management system on the A320. But I highly recommend the tobii eye. Which also has a cool "move to mouse feature" in Windows. I can look at a part of the screen and it will warp my mouse there. Just a cool extra.
My brother has the same one and it works absolutely fine. He mostly uses it for star citizen btw

For VFR flights, VR can't be beaten. If you want to simulate IFR flights, mess with charts and external avionics, like Skydeamon connected to MSFS (which is nice but requires free third party tools), or suffer from nausea in VR, eye tracking is fabulous.

Eye tracker is good when it is built in VR. In other cases TrackIR or DelanClip.

nel senso che magari può funzionare bene se hai un monitor enorme e curvo davanti ai tuoi occhi ma non se hai un piccolo 32 pollici frontale e devi guardare a destra a sinistra in alto o in basso.
in quei casi la realtà virtuale sarà enormemente più efficace ed immersiva.

I got a Delan clip head tracker a few years ago because I’m poor and Delan clip is $£60. It made MSFS farming sim so much better. Truthfully it has made me resent any game that doesn’t support it. Some games you can cheat and make the head tracker replace the mouse in the open track settings.
Swiss, it won’t be easy you will have to jump through hoops to prove yourself. But I know a guy who lost an arm in a motorbike accident and has gone on to be a commercial pilot. Im certain you can do it.

How do you use switches without using the mouse!! Can the eye tracker also activate switches and stuff ?!
You will use the mouse for click off course, but it is a game changer to be able to move your head quickly in the cockpit... you cant even dogfight without it in DCS, i mean you really need it can't follow the enemy otherwise. and Hotas are here for allow you don't have to move your hands off it.

Gude, ich finde deine Videos sehr gut gemacht es ist immer eine gute Mischung aus Lustig und Ernst. Komme auch aus dem Raum Rhein Main Gebiet.
Das einzige was manchmal etwas nervig ist, ist deine übertriebene Englische Aussprache die dann teilweise ultimativ laut ist ansonsten bitte weiter so Content ist genau richtig.

Finde das Englisch sehr angenehm. Gibt nichts schlimmeres als den Dschörman-Akzent und es hat ne Weile gedauert, bis ich überhaupt gemerkt habe, dass er in DE lebt.

DCS is like the only game it is worth it but playing CSGO with tracker would be really funny
Well back in time we tried use TrackIR5 with Arma, Ravenshield and other fps and really the result was not really good, the problem is the games was not made for allow a realistic pov using track IR, meaning you never really get your eyes where they should be when aim. It is just the games was not made for. Now we have vr and other and games and simulator are too adapted to it ( sort of ). And games like DCS who use tracking since many years, you have an excellent result with it (not perfect but quite good )
