This video shows swell resolved in SWOT SSH (in blue) and radar backscatter (grey shades) data, as the satellite flies along track 004 over the Pacific ocean, From New Caledonia to Aotearoa New Zealand, on June 11, 2023, as part of cycle 548. The video captures the New Caledonia coral reef and lagoon system and passes very close to Norfolk island that is a strong source of wave scattering and finishes in shallow water next to the coast of NZ.
