Goat Island, December 2023 (Full snorkel, few cuts)

On a very nice day in December 2023.
There are a few cuts in the beginning, but very little later on, so basically you can come on a snorkelling adventure with us and see what we see. I didn't have quite enough weight with me, so you'll see me plop up like a cork a few times. Learning curve....
You'll see, in no particular order: snapper, goat fish, hiwi hiwi, triple fins, red moki, leather jackets (one baby!), painted shrimps, crabs, eagle rays, banded wrasse, angel fish, an olive rock fish, golf ball sponges, spotties, parore, sweep, blue mao mao, marble fish, other sponges, a ton of different sorts of kelp, salps, kina, stunning colours of the rocks, caves, and 100% no porcupine fish, because it went back into the kelp so quickly that there was no time to direct the camera towards it. T'was a good day and we were out there for a very long time...
