- I was so happy to be invited to participate in the annual Philippine-American Friendship Parade In Jersey City... Due to covid restrictions they've been unable to celebrate so making it to this one made it even more special... Come take a ride with me through the streets of Jersey city where I spend some time eating drinking and celebrating our new friendships... This community is amazing and Im so thankful to be a part fit...

I wanted to be there, but it was too far to fit in my schedule 😔. That red RX with the gloss black carbon fiber was sick looking! The parade brought back memories, as I used to do sound engineering for a live band in parades all over Michigan. It was fun and we always had the best sound... you could feel the bass blocks away! At least the cop was nice and pretty lenient. Thanks for the video!

Awesome video brother really enjoyed it. I love to see the eriders out there doing community based events together. So much hate out there lately on the roads we need more love. I'm out on the east end of long island and would really love to see some large PEV Group rides out here. Not only because it would just be fun to meet people and ride out. The other factor is these big group rides create awareness to motorist. With a large group they see you all but then they see all the different types of PEVs out there and how fast they can go. So when motorist see a singular rider doing there daily they will have an idea already of what it's capabilities are and help them think more about looking twice. Unlike dirt bikes and motorcycles we don't have that noise factor. I prefer riding alone at night because I feel like people see my lights better from afar and expect my existence. Ride safe out there everyone and thanks Mr.E for a great ride along. Hope to meet you out there in the streets one day! God bless everyone
Thank you… 🙌🙏🙌 How awesome to read… This is definitely our goal… Create awareness so it becomes safer for us when we are out there… my own experience riding alone has been met with very aggressive behavior from motorist… Main reason I went with the onyx… having the power and torque when needed on these city streets…

I was rocking a nanrobotd5+ for awhile and exactly that the aggressive motorist had me upgrading to a dualtron eagle pro and now I feel a little bit safer having that pick up and higher top end. Mr. E, you guys seem to be riding respectfully; there are many groups in southern CA that don't, blowing through red lights--speeding in areas where it's dangerous--wheelie-ing near pedestrians, etc. Consequently, Sur Rons and Talaria type bikes are getting impounded in cities like San Clemente. The affluent, non-thinking riders are ruining it for some of us. Alas.
That cop was pretty damn cool.
In the end yes… 🙏 but he was whole other person when jumped in front the group… by the time I got up to the front our guys did a great job of deescalating 🙌💪💯

Nah we did nothing wrong at the park other than ride as a large group… no speeding or wreck less behavior… we were only stopped because it was a large group… listen closely to the audio…

I'm guessing some of these e-bikes go faster than 28 mph. I would not ride without a helmet/gloves.
They all absolutely go above 28 mph easily. Its a also a big reason some cops make a big deal about it, because technically once you go over 28 mph with a throttle, its not classified as an ebike anymore, it becomes akin to a moped/scooter, which requires title/registration/license yada yada. Most cops are fine with about 30 or less, as long as it has pedals and youre not being an ahole, but as you can see alot of the riders were on surron's, onyx's, ariel riders grizzlys' and 52 volts, etc....and all of them are capable of 30+ right out the box.
I agree though that i wouldnt be on any of those things without a helmet at the very least. Once you push past 15mph or so on an ebike, the reality of " dressing for the slide, not for the ride" becomes very apparent. I'm debating non whether its worth to ride in full gear every time on a 30mph or so ebike but so far just helmet, gloves and jeans feel fine for me.
Agreed…. But those without helmets were all traveling below 28 mph…
