Best thing to do is rank order everyone, then deal them like cards one to each group, then go back to the first one. So each bracket has a good player, two mid players, and one low ranked player. This is just for qualifiers IMO. I believe after qualifiers a tournament is best. I really liked the most the double elimination formula. Losing in the winner tournament moves you to the loser tournament, then the winner of the loser tournament plays vs the winner of the winner tournament for first place. It removes the "chance" factor, where you might lose to cheese or weird niche strats you didn't know how to handle.
@@BARCastTV yes but then the rest are a chance. I personally prefer deterministic systems when it comes to competition. But you do you. Thanks for the content and the for your contribution to the community! 😊
i did make mod one time, that changed armada platypus to be more expensive but much sturdier, and gave the cortex duck a better build time and lower energy cost. each unit felt a little more fun to use. making platoons of plats and begin able to hold a beach against T2 and T3 units, and large kill squads of ducks being much more accessible and easier to replace. changing one unit from each side, connected by counterpart type, made both units funner to use when both got their own buff in a different way.
34:00 (he is takking about previous game right?) idk, it looked like rANDY could have sniped blodir there at any moment, but then he let those llts come up. Blodir was there with lonely com vs like 20+ grunts in a concave Can see it again at 35:18
It's great that you're thinking about ways to get more inexperienced players to play a few more matches on weekend tournaments. That's pretty much what I'm looking for, but if I'm up against very experienced players, I won't get past the first or second match. It'll still be fun, but if experience levels are more balanced out, we're less likely to have matches that last, like, 4 minutes because it's just a steamroll.
@@BARCastTV It will. And I'm sure more content creators will start coming up with more cinematic casts that can bring out the wow factor to a wider audience. But it looks like the game has entered somewhat of an expanding player base phase, so next league you'll probably have more to work with.
I agree with Blodir that there could be some hard feelings with moving players between the brackets, especially with some $$ on the line. Also really interesting to hear you discuss the game mechanics! BTW, do you need a new keyboar00000000000000?
You cannot balance this game around 1v1 sorry pro gamers if you do this game dies overnight. 8v8 is the standard which 98% of people will play or be draw to it
BAR is basically a 1 faction game in 1v1. Air is extremely horrible compared to FAF. T2 in BAR is like T3 in FAF. T1 goes completely obsolete instantly BAR. One T2 Tzar tank could one shot 30 T1 bots.
Storm gate felt like an unpolished sc2 mod
And ZeroSpace?

Thanks for the comment troll. I do kinda separate the #1 seeds from the Qualifiers or Ro8

If I remember correctly group D got stacked cause goopy wanted to have stronger opponents, so he moved Raghna to his group T_T
Witch is kinda insane
Omg memory op, I think I remember him changing mitvit for raghna
OP memory, that's exactly what happened thanks ZLO!

It's really close there, not sure if I would have gone for the snipe there personally.

Hope so! Unfortunately we need some lower level people in the first couple seasons. Hopefully the player count increases enough to stratify the league

Great vid! Wheres ATB w/LSR? Been a hot minute! (owtfox)
Should be recording one today with Raghna! stay tuned
I wonder how many people would be down for a bar amateur league 35 OS and below kind of thing.
We shall see, first I have to give 35+ players no reason to want to play in it. Hope it can happen soon

I'm not sure what you're referring too , but I can tell you think strongly about this

Hope we see this change over the next few weekends. I think ARM is sleeper faction
