The super Saiyan hair is like that because it’s supposed to take after his “super Saiyan rage” form he gets later in the arc, not his normal super Saiyan form.

I don’t mind that they made the arms thin. It gives a good contrast and balance to the exaggerated spikey hair and the oversized sword.
Mmmm I don’t really like its faces in normal form… but the figure is ok. It has accessories (something rare lately). I think is a must if you like trunks or dragon ball super. In fact, I have 2, I always buy two when the figure has two different heads.
yes yes i agree, i like dbz trunks design better than this one but they make the normal face quite accurate here

I think they went for that style of super saiyan hair because I believe it's based on his Super Saiyan Rage transformation where the hair got even spiker than normal super saiyan hair. I also think that his wavy super saiyan hair supposed to be his super saiyan first form. Other than that, Toei can't keep the hair animation same as there are too many goddam scene is dbs lol.
I think it’s ssj2 since it’s more spiky than ssj1 tbh

When Goku and trunks fought. Goku says straight to ssj2 when clearly it’s ssj1 and Goku goes ssj2 but it’s literally ssj1 lmao so yea super messed up

trunks' hair is supposed to be slightly parted and wavy
they make his hair based on his look from behind which is straight, very similar to goku
when in fact it's supposed to be wavy from the front
that's why i think maybe it's just a matter of bad animation

It’s funny how Xenoverse Trunks seems most useful as an expansion set for Super Trunks.
They did him dirty with personality in dbs but design wise I love the new hair color and outfit sadly he’s not that cool like in dbz

Personally, I feel this figure looks too thin in my opinion, especially in comparison with other characters

i think dbs characters tend to be slimmer than the dbz characters
it is a matter of style really, if you watched 90s animes, the characters tend to be muscular and buffed, while recent animes seemed to have thin/slimmer body
i guess muscular build must have went out of style nowadays lol 😅
