Every single hair stylist or random person who has done their own hair vs a friend's hair will tell you it's soOoOoOoOo much easier to dye another person's hair because you can actually see what your doing on 100% of the head, no mirrors or contortionists required!!! To all the people watching this video anytime you do color or any chemical service weather it be on you or somebody else you absolutely must wear gloves. If not you not only color your hair but you also color your hands and since color is chemical you risk chemical burns. And believe you me it ain't fun and on me it itches like crazy I'm a licensed hairstylist so yea I do know what I'm talking about.
Fashion colours are semi-permant colours that only deposit pigments on top of the hair. It's literally just colour, nothing chemical or dangerous about it. All it does is stain your skin.
i’ve been using my hands to dye my hair for years, it’s okay unless you’re in a professional setting i’d say idk
@@HotxXxMess Just because semi permanent and demi permanent color deposit and do not lift color which no color lifts color don't mean gloves are not required. If you knew anything about doing chemical services if you were a licensed hairstylist like me you would know that. But obviously by the ignorance of your response to me shows you have clue what you're talking about.
@@kiadavis6371 Then what exactly is so dangerous about getting this dye on your hands when it doesn't seem to be an issue when it gets on your scalp? I know you can be allergic to certain ingredients in the dye but then you shouldn't be using it at all. But what's so different between getting it on your hands as opposed to on your scalp?
@@HotxXxMess This is exactly the reason allergy tests are done way before the hair color service is done. If you're allergic to one type of hair color a different type of color will be used. And gloves are a requirement to protect the skin and so chemical burns from the color can't happen. If you use your bare hands to apply the color the color will burn your skin but not to the point where you need to go to the hospital.
