You are going to have to search hard to find a fan base as dedicated and knowledgeable as Maiden fans. Maiden shows are full of young people that know the lyrics of all the songs that were recorded long before they were born.
I was in the Athens show on saturday. I am 44 and i expected that the majority of the crowd would be around my age. I was pretty much suprised that i and my buddies were the minority. I was delighted seeing 20 year olds being total,fanatic,fans!

it was mine and the wifes 1st time seeing them too, been a huge fan forever tho. they were amazing. im used to just watching them on youtube but when i was there and the lights went on i was like it it it its IRON FUCKIN MAIDEN. i couldnt believe they were there right in front of me lol bruce is 60 just gone he certainly has a ton of energy for a guy that age, hope i can go like that when i hit 60

Who originally sung doctor doctor (and no I'm not referring to U.F.O) cause upon my 1st listen, i couldn't help but notice that it didn't sound very much like Bruce.
I love Iron Maiden but I hope that Michael Schenker and Phil Mogg get some money from this. Maiden can afford it. And I hope that new Maiden fans at least check out UFO's Stangers in the NIght.....their classic live album which, no doubt inspired Iron Maiden.
It’s a massive drum kit, I don’t think he’s using the big cymbals around the outside for this song. For more of a dramatic feel in, say, “The Book of Souls”, the huge ones outside are being hit as well.
Bruce’s vocals are really starting to sound strained now. He can still sing the songs but you can tell it’s much harder for him. He had a great run and will forever be my number 2 behind Halford. Maiden forever

yeah...my 4th maiden gig they were playing bladerunner theme...it made hirs stand up and gave us goosebumps know what was coming...amazing

Absolutely fantastic to see the band that I listened to in the early 80’s still packing them in 40 years later! Amazing!
