  • In this fourth episode we cross the River Tyne (Literally) into South Tyneside and examine the history and importance of South Shields. It was the home of another ancient Celtic Tribe before being occupied by the Romans who built a significant fort here. Pretty much every major event in English History had a connection with South Shields. A host of famous people past and present are connected with the town, learn about them and enjoy an extended aeriel display of filming.
