- Live April 5th 1996 at the Elm Street Rock Cafè In Oslo Norway.
Audio rebuild by me...
Pumped the channels up from -60db right, -36dB left the first 25 min., and -42dB left -24db right on the rest . Removed some hiss, clicks, cracks, and crumbles, but kept most noise to retain authenticity. There was also a tsunami of phase-noise and jitter (especially around 32:46) caused by low volume and heavy compression on the mpeg2 source. The part after 14:43 had left channel at 16dB, so it got only a lightweight treatment.
-And the video contrast and color also got a slight touch of artistry... :P

I like Vicotnik's performance here.
DHG have always been a top shelf BM experience. Always pushing the boundaries of the genre while staying the most twisted/evil of the lot, both musically and lyrically. And they've got a new record ready to fuck our lives up in a bit, can't wait. It's been 8 years, again.

Which bands do they cover, I couldn't recognize 3 songs : the one before When Heavens End (around 26 minutes) and the 2 last ones.
Dodheimsgard is a band from the "old days" I still enjoy listening to even if they are completely different right now. Their best materials are Kronet Til Konge and Monumental Possession though.
No cover : the song before "When Heavens End" is an unreleased one named "Tormentor" (source : Aldrahn), and the last ones are from "Satanic Art"

Omg those vocals of Vicotnik are horrible lol. How Vicotnik went from worst to one of the best black metal vocalists is still a mystery to me. Also, why would they decide to put Vicotnik on the mic when they have a heavy weight like Aldrahn hahaha. Nowadays I would consider both top tier BM vocalists though.
you are fcking clueless. vicotniks vocals here are one of the most characteristic vocal styles of black metal, immitated by many, many copycats. Are you new to black metal my guy ?
