2. They removed hachan
3. the entire Nami being chained in along park, remove it, in the manga she stayed because of the village, it was her shackles.
think the series would be 100 times better if I didnt know about the anime,

Live action Luffy did actually eat the food that he was offered. After he declined the offer, he walked a away and then ran back a few seconds later to take some of it.

Listen, I saw one piece live action and I loved it I did and I hope to GOD that one piece live action get another season and more to come
It will 99% return with a 2nd season...It broke so many records it's close to impossible to not get renewed for 2nd season

Things like the fish-skin bandages not being discovered yet in our world doesn't matter since OP is an alternate universe (so the same time-line does not apply). 🤔 I believe somewhere I read Oda mentioned it was an addition he liked since it would have been something he could see in the OP world (which also has modern type clothing). 🤷🏽♀️ Either way it's pretty cool. Only time will tell if the big changes in story will be successful or not.

I hope that when theres a sesson 2 they will exagerate the characters personalitys more and not take away from the plot but add
I find it difficult, considering the budget and time, plus they would have to make sense of many scenes.
and they don't need to exaggerate the characters' personalities, do you know how horrible that would be?
I think they add some original scenes to make it more dramatic and serious than focus to the majority of goofs on the anime, not mad at it, loved it honestly
I actually do hope that it gets a resurgence, or at least gets another bump up only because most of my favorite characters that I like from the show were introduced to later on
Did Anyone Notice That In The Anime Buggy Stated He Cannot Separate His Body Unless His Feet Are Near Him But In The Life Action Buggy Can Do That With His Feet Meters Away. Prime Examples: When Buggy's Head Was In The StrawHats Ship And His Body Was In Arlong Park
Cho Cho the dog shows up briefly at the end of the Buggy part.

OMG! I noticed all of those 50 changes. Because i watched One Piece anime, is my favorite show in the world ever. I'm a One Piece fan. I watched the Live Action One Piece series, but, based on my opinion, i like the anime the most. It's because the anime is more funny &entertaining.
Yeah..i gotta say that zoro was already serious and moody even before the mihawk trauma in the live action..i want to see him laugh more just like in the anime 😂

the reason why the live action is more serious then the actual anime, its because at first one piece was more of a comedy when it started off, and then started to become more serious.
You also forgot that the octopus guy never existed in Arlong Park and never fought Zoro instead Zoro and Sanji teamed up on the fishman karate guy

I liked the changes. There are some things in manga and anime that don't really translate well into live action. Oda knew this and looked over everything. Still some goofy moments but still fun to watch. And that's the point, the fun and adventure of the story.
In the anime nami also robs the everyone that said goodbye on the docks. In the live action it just skipped forward to her being on the boat. Although it might not have been significant i thought i was a funny scene

So Luffy in the anime doesn’t punch the sea king until over 500 episodes in. The manga has the scene in chapter 1. Pretty huge difference. So the live action cutting it out isn’t that major.

I saw many changes by mihawk for once his sword was not as black as in the manga or how he arrived by the Strawhat unnoticed or that he was not hand to hand combat experience then in the manga or zorro did used his sword of his former girlfriend he rarely use it as in the anime
Zoro never had a girlfriend
Most of these changes were made for a shorter season otherwise we would never get through the first season

@@madzpanda I do enjoy the original. Which is why when i heard "live action" i thought it was going to be the original but with a human cast. I did expect for there to be some changes, but they changed WAY to much. Anyways its not unwatchable and thats just my opinion!

TBH when u compare the shitty live action ...this is just better one and *not* the best one.dont know why live action was even needed.

some of my POVs
1.also i dont think the oda looking into the anime was a *PR stunt* to avoid backlash as people love oda
2.The girl giving onigiri to zoro and zoro eating the thrown one was an important scene (PS i still think he named his attack bcoz of ONIGIRI)
3.Some people might hype zoro , but seeing the no. of live action he did (eg-ruroni kenshin,etc) and got the role without any audition ...i guess there would have been a better zoro as he has literally no expression what so ever ..where mihawk was the perfect one with the perfect characteristic and attitude of being the strongest.whereas i didnt even feel enything when zoro cried and promised to never lose again in live action ...thats the difference.
4.luffy - i know he is good at his work but considering his age , i wonder what post time skip luffy would look like if he is this older now.
5.koby is already fit and handsome ...wonder what they are gonna do about his glowupp more ...like remove glasses ig
6.they ruined buggy man ..made him look like some kinda serial killer or villan...whereas in anime he was much better potrayed ....i hope people dont argue that about it coz its about the character buggy not the CGI/VFX they did
7.sanji' character is also the well-deserved one since it was not easy to pull of the leg stunts sanji did including the posture of keeping your hands in pocket
8.They literally excluded hachi ...like now i think they dont plan on sticking to the source material ...coz i think they couldnt even reach 200 episodes till 2040 without skipping an arc

dont know if they could complete the complete 1000 episodes before the actors getting old ...

luffy beating the sea king was also not shown in anime until whole ace died trauma, and fluffy childhood backstory arc. get a grip. your complain is like, "why they didn't show the time travel ability of oden's wife? it happened way before, chronologically". kind of dumb.
There are some "differences" I felt he could have taken out and replaced with some bigger differences. However, the Luffy sea king scene isn't one of them because that indeed was in the very first chapter of the manga. I don't think he's complaining about it either, I think he's just acknowledging that it is different.
