That set the stage for Blake's heroics during the ensuing penalty-kick shootout, as the standout Union backstop saved each of the first two shots from Mukhtar and Anibal Godoy. Santos also had saved his saved by Willis, but Alex Muyl and Walker Zimmerman each skied their attempts wide, allowing Philadelphia's converted shots by Jack Elliott and Jack McGlynn to send them through.
Nashville's third and fourth penalty takers were probably thinking "Blake can't save my penalty if I miss the goal entirely".
I was watching this game live and I do not know much about these teams, but I was thinking 3 things, 1. Andre Blake is good, 2. Nashville is horrible at penalties, and 3. Dang that’s a nice Mustache

As a Union fan at the game watching it after Blake made that 3rd save and Mcglynn scored I’m like this is Andre Blake’s legendary moment like the moment where we look back in history in the year 2027 2028 maybe who knows when Blake’s retired and we talk about how great his career was and what was his legendary moment tonight was that legendary moment I’m rlly proud of Andre as a Union fan going to the eastern conference finals is something I never thought would happen it’s so beautiful been going to games for like 10 11 years now I’m in shock of happiness of what I’m currently witnessing

All the pressure is on the shooter. They're supposed to make the shot. Add the fear factor of Blake, and it shifts. This was a display of mental weakness from the Nashville side. GO UNION!!

Blake read the third penalty, and the kicker saw that. I think at that moment he thought he should just jam it so Blake can't save it. but then he put too much power, and so he misses the shot.
