Cracked ribs, torn cartilage & a bruised lung at Bristol (that was unknown & went untreated until he crashed again at Martinsville 2 weeks later), re-broke the ribs & had a concussion at the Winston, broke them AGAIN along with his wrist, internal injuries & a concussion in the wreck at Pocono, then had to endure Clifford's death & STILL went into the final race of the season with a 30 point lead, only to be taken out in a wreck that he had nothing to do with about 75 laps from the finish. i'll never understand it. Seems like that stretch between 1987 & 1994 everything bad you could possibly imagine happened to a member of the Alabama Gang.
