DUDE!!! Deon Cole dropping gold nuggets of advice. Its so true man. You know you have a sense of humor if random shit is making you laugh. You're seeing the humor in it. The skill of it comes in "displaying" what you see in it thats funny. Its a matter of conveying the funny thought from your mind to theirs.

I did it for a few years...I observed that the best ones were just the cleverest, regardless of stage time..The ones who were mediocre who just kept doing it didnt seem to improve too much..like anything, u can develop it but to be a Louis CK you have to be born with a superior faculty for observation and delivery.
Louie CK was bad for years before he really came up with good shit

It's true. His old stuff wasn't NOT funny, but it wasn't close to where he went with Shameless and beyond. It takes work and it takes time. And work. Lots and lots of work. Oh, and time.

Harland is sooooo unfunny. I cant believe he hosted Just for Laughs "stand up" shows for so long. Cant stand him. ..... also Shawn Majumder, just horribly unfunny.
