Terraria, But It's Megaman...

- In this video I try beating Terraria using flamethrowers only but as many of you know there are only two flamethrowers in the game, the flamethrower and the elf melter however both of those can only be obtained in hardmode so I installed one of the craziest flamethrower mod that adds in a whole bunch for both pre-hardmode and hardmode. Not only that, there are also new armor and accessories so the question is, how good are these flamethrowers and will they be strong enough to take down the final boss Moon Lord? It needs wayyyy better balancing. I feel like they weren’t trying to make anything super overpowered, but ended up making it kinda underwhelming.
Needs some more accessories and armor sets and cannons or something idk.

I think they could've added more mega man weapons too. There are a LOT more in Mega Man than what's in the mod from what I'm seeing. Hope they update the mod with more stuff someday.
@@PureCringe yeah I’m also hoping they add some more stuff for supporting attacks. Like having to swap to different attacks mid fight would be cool
@@shad0wphoenix1 yeah that would be awesome. Kinda also hope they add in more armors. Since I'm sure you already know that there are way more different suits that Mega Man has used across the games. That would also be pretty cool tbh.
@@shad0wphoenix1 Adding a weakness or two for every boss would be cool, allowing the powers to scale damage up as you get farther in the game is a must, and there's no reason they can't add the Z saber.

No way, I had just played This mod A couple of weeks ago and beat it. I'm Glad I wasn't the only person to play this mod, although it was kind of underwhelming at times, especially in pre-hardmode.

This mod would definitely be better for someone who has played a lot of Mega Man, especially the NES games. Also, I wonder if the reason why the weapons are weak is because of Mega Man's signature mechanic where each boss is only weak to one weapon, and a lot of the game is about figuring out which weapon to use for each.

As a fan of the Megaman and X games, ngl. This was a fun nostalgia trip. But, ya, the mod dev *really* needs to make those charge attacks better. I feel like they were trying for the charge attack to not be to op but like... they made it literally useless for how long it takes. Unsure if they properly factored in the damage to time stats required for something like that, if they increased the damage at all in the data lmao.

A signature Sentries run would be cool.
We'd get to see a couple of bosses we pretty much never see, and it would make you change your strategy for certain bosses, notably, the wall of flesh
43:00 The funniest part about that is in the Megaman series (or at least, the classic games) it quite literally does three times the damage of normal pellet shots (3 damage as opposed to the pellet shots' 1 damage) innately so it not being the same here makes it inaccurate to the source material lol
I personally will chalk it up to them not having it implemented yet but who knows tbh
This mod is super fun to play. You should try the Metroid Mod next! It's super fun and has some really cool mechanics!
I like how the Crash Bomber, a weapon that is specifically used to break walls, doesn't break blocks

Yeah, as a megaman fan, I find so many of these weapons pretty underwhelming, it seems like the damage scaling needs to be greater across the board. Charge attacks are pretty bad. Hoping to see this mod get a complete rework.
Ive been thinking of doing this for a long time with Tedit, and using the games normal items, like the alien cannon blaster thing... idk.
