  • PLEASE READ!!!!!! I am actually pretty nervous sharing this because of the body image issues I've mentioned. I want to stress that I fully and completely understand that it is harder to be fat in our society than it is to be skinny. And that skinny people are often times taken more seriously when it comes to getting eating disorder treatment. I can never fully understand the difficulties that come along with being in a larger body in our society. But I would be lying if I said I didn't have body image issues or that I don't take it extremely hard when people comment on my body (which they often do. and to my face). I want my channel here and my TikTok account to be a place where people of ALL SIZES are heard, respected and loved. I want us to come together to try to combat the ways of thinking that have been imbedded in us. I don't want it to be a competition of who suffers more because the truth is, society has failed us all in how we view our bodies.

I just wanted to say that watching the video on our health literally made me cry. I’m 21 I’m gonna 22 this year and I’ve been struggling with this since I was about 13. It started with an allergic reaction to nuts when I was 9 where I almost died due to anaphylactic shock. Which progressively got worse over time as everyone thought I was just attention seeking. To this day I still have moments where I got months without eating, and all anyone’s ever done to help me with it is prescribe me antidepressants which haven’t worked. It’s really made me so happy to know there’s actually a reason and that I’m not alone as I’ve never even met someone else with a nut allergy! Thank you for speaking up when some of couldn’t, I’m incredibly grateful. Hopefully now I can get the help I need 💗

Hi Laura!!! I’m so glad I found you, on Snapchat featured of all places! I’m a Kentuckian as well. What about this weather!? Anyways, I love your merch. I wondered if you were an artist when I saw the painting above your bed during your therapy session. You’re an amazing artist! I look forward to your new content and I’m excited to see what you’ve already put out. I have struggled with anxiety and depression for many years and it’s so refreshing to have “met” you. Thank you for everything you do 🤗❤️ (air hug cus covid and I’m weird about touching lol)

its hard, because I cant handle the taste or texture, I don't know how to overcome that and I don't think I can

I'm sure that is so hard! Mine isn't very texture based but I've talked to a lot of people in my support groups who have that kind of ARFID. They have had success with working with a dietitian trained in ARFID so I would definitely recommend that if you can!
