THE BEST BEACH IN NORTH DEVON - Broadsands Beach Exmoor

- We visit the happiest view in the UK (or so the sign tells us). Broadsands Beach is a dramatic beach on the Exmoor Devon coast and is well worth a visit!
We have found it hard to find beaches that match up to the coastline of Cornwall, but we think Broadbands Beach on the North coast of Devon might just be up there with some of the best beaches/coastlines we have seen in the UK.
We also make it round to exploring the just as beautiful Woody Bay.

ABOUT FINDING OUR ADVENTURE
We are Jonny & Hannah and we love to travel! After traveling through South East Asia and starting Finding Our Adventure we wanted to explore more of our own country and Europe. North Devon has that beautiful aqua marine sea. Gets a little muddy the closer you get to Minehead. You’re outside of the estuary.

You've not mentioned how the local council is slowly allowing it to be privatised. Damien Hurst's family had threatened anyone who parks at one end of national trust area and blocked the entererance and the caravan site ob the other end has put logs down the road to prevent parking and placed a massive boulder blocking access to the other end of the national trust area so preventing easy access by the wider public.
We filmed this video two years ago and didn’t have these issues hence why it’s not mentioned. The beach is privately owned I think and the owners can block it off if they choose 🤷♂️
I remember night fishing at Broadsands in the late 80's / early 90's and you could drive and park right up to the steps going down. It's a problem with htis country that people are laying claim to everything - it's important to make life difficult them.
