Why are they trying to charge people to watch poker … shame on them
I'm refusing to pay, I'm with you there. But the actual answer is that ever since the US cracked down on Poker, Pokerstars and Fulltilt money has left. Their advertising dollars is what kept poker free. The more people watched, the more new players would join their sites, making up for the cost of advertising.
Until we reach a point where advertising money from the online sites makes it worth their investments, it's a tough spot to get it all for free.
Nothing stopping you going to Vegas and standing on the rail.
