Dailys, Ep. 112 - Your drum programming will be insane after this
0:00 - How you can understand major and minor chords without getting confused
3:50 - your next melody is only a half-step away from that minor chord

Yo I heard that bell sound, I’m listening to you while I do some sh**, and had to double check if you were using repro lol and sure enough you were. That sound is so distinct! One of my favorite bell sounds. And I’m with you on the repro crashes lol! Mines usually crashes when I got the triton vst open or if I try to open the triton with repro already open.
thanks chu this is rlly helpfull. God bless u
Watching you make and emphasize chords really changed my careers trajectory

Thanks alot for this helpful video🙏. Also noticed this chord progression 07:18 sound like Pi'erre Bournes' melodies and they sound very good. I would be greatful if you make some tutorials or content of him
thank you homie! - & thx for the suggestion too
Chu i have studied your melody guides and i feel like i have everything on point including sound selection and they still don't sound as good as industry level melodies. Is it because of lack of music theory or I need practice?
You need more practice. Come back in a year and tell me how much you’ve practiced along with what your results were. I think you’ll observe an interesting relationship between the two along the way.
The next step is processing / mixing. Also industry beats are mastered so they sound better. But once you get the melody and sound selection down, you can focus on mixing the sounds.
Repetition/Practice is the KEY to making better beats in general. Got to see what works for YOU and what doesn't. I'm in my 2nd year trying to make beats and I've learned so much but I'm not anywhere I want to be just yet. Looking back though it's crazy how much progress I've made. From everything looking so complicated to where I want to give up, to knowing that hey maybe it's just not the day today and come back even better. Just never give up!

I recommend moving your video inlay/talking head to the opposite side of the screen, so we can clearly see the content you're creating.
I’m not gonna move it. But I appreciate the recommendation 🙏🤝🔥
