Thank you. It worked on my iPhone XS as soon as I unplugged the FaceID cable, however I cut too close to the screen and damaged the screen. Hopefully a $26 screen replacement from Amazon will fix that.

great video. Can you confirm what piece you transferred from the old to the new screen? It was not the digitizer, correct? A new screen normally comes already with a new digitizer right? Thanks!
Only transfer is proximity sensor / ear speaker. The new lcd screen is a full assembly with digitizer
Does the face id still work?
My screen got replaced with gx x display on iphkne xs but it has ghosts touches (severe ghost touches ) is it the screen or any other reason that causes it . Any help will be appreciated

My screen does not turn on so I am trying to change the screen. I bought a "pro" set of tools for electronics with over 100 parts. I got the two screws out by the charging port and got the screen off. I tried to take some of the screws out like they exhibit in youtube videos. I do not see what bits will work. Theyl do not fit in the screw head. Does anyone know exactly which bit would would work or maybe I am doing something else wrong. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

This is not an iPhone XS this is an iPhone X regular non S the xs screen replacement does not have them prongs on the side of the replacement screen

you can tell by the L-shape battery that is is Xs
Indeed also my XS screen does not have the metal prongs of the side of the screen and also the proximity/ear cable.
