Nicholas is actually pretty decent! I thought he was gonna look like a Vinnie Hacker 2.0 but he knows the fundamentals of the game well. Knows how to use his jab, was able to intercept Jarvis' combinations at times, understands the mechanics of the philly shell defense, and he knows how to use his range and footwork to escape tight spaces. I think he'll be a tougher fight for Jay than many people expect. Jay still probably stops him in the 3rd round or so, but this will be a good fight for sure.
Vinnie hacker was a decent boxer too tbh

Nich is good for not having had a fight before. But Swingler is a real pussy for fighting another Cherdleys after training and learning boxing for the past 2.5-3 years now.
Jarvis is a great fighter but I get the impression he’s way to emotional in the ring.

Jarvis has some of the best defense though, I’d rank him second on defense and Fousey first.

there isn’t. they’re slapping punches. he’s not turning his knuckle over. if he learns to do that consistently he could actually be a very tough opponent. he’s also not putting his body and legs into the shots, so there’s no driven momentum powering them either. he’s technical, clearly understands the fundamentals, but is just missing a few pieces of the puzzle.

The jab hits Jarvis every time he has no head movement and his hands are down 90% of the time
he has great head movement and having a high guard dont make you invincible having a high guard tires you quickly and leaves you open for body shots

Jarvis only seems to move his head after he gets hit, he'll get popped with the jab, move his head and dip a lil and then goes straight back to walking forwards hands up head down the centre.
I'm sure he's not worried about being knocked out or anything here but his lack of natural head movement is telling.
On another note this NichLmao kid looks alright for only 6 months of training. Still very raw but so natural skill and has a solid jab, I still think Jay takes it but Nich has a future for sure.

Nich 100% is the better and smarter fighter but god damn his punches r weak. Throws arm punches, he needs to start digging those shots like Jarvis is and use his leg to drive his shots. Its why Jarvis keeps walking forward, because Nichs power isnt anything to be worried about.
Jarvis has zero defence n doesnt move his head off the center line at all. Just throws his shots and whenever he is throwing gets countered easily. I dont love KSI or Deji as boxers that much, but KSI is right Deji beats the fuck out of Jarvis. Deji actually moves his head off the center line and throws with more accuracy then Jarvis. Jarvis needs to learn to not get emotional when in close and actually defend himself
Back to Nich, he changes angles very well and isnt scared to go in the fire. Now without a headguard that might change, but he at least can counter effectively. His shots are pretty accurate as well. For his awkward look and honestly looks quite uncoordinated, his shot selection and iq is clearly pretty good for his experience. Needs to gain muscle and start driving with shots, but still he looked pretty good.

nich landed 7 affective shots and the rest were 4 sloopy jabs that jarvis ate. jarvis landed over 15. controlled the angles. And jarvis blocked 6 shots and slipped over 10 shots in a 2 min clip imagine what he did in the 15 min clip. Keep in mind this is light sparring. Keep in mind in the clip jarvis had 11 months expirience btw. Btw Jarvis was helping nich train here
