Thanks Jason! I’d love to talk about working on a collab together sometime; I’ll message you on Facebook soon. It would be cool to work together on a video if you’re open to the idea. Thanks again!

Hey, Jason! I just received your Signature microphone from Lone Wolf Blues and it is fantastic! I have a Hohner HarpBlaster 52, which is great, but your Signature microphone is exactly what I have been looking for in a microphone--smooth, crystal-clear, perfect grip, easy volume knob. I could not be happier! Cheers.

Hey, Jonah! Great timing on this video. At your suggestion a few videos ago, I ordered an Arkia Signature (Modular Booster) in A. It took just 13 days to order it and get it from Arkia Harmonicas in France. It literally arrived ten minutes before I saw this video posted by you. I think you may recall that I had hesitated in buying a Jason Ricci Signature microphone until you gave your review. Now that I have seen it, I am going to place an order for one (the Psycho Vein Green one--which looks awesome!). Your honest reviews are the best advertising any company can get--as long as they build quality equipment. Cheers.

I’ve been using that same mic for a year with the harp attack pedal thru an Orange 35W amp.

Thanks for the review. Not there yet to purchase a mic, but nearing that time. Question. The volume knob in your video is sitting right below your R hand...any concern of the volume knob being turned accidently with more R hand movt then you did in this video? TIA

Still seems large to me... Microphones are tiny... There was one so small it is on a ring... I feel they should be that transparent to the player...🎉❤

I mean, mics CAN be tiny. Lavalier mics are tiny like you want, but the tone is very harsh and hot. It can work in some contexts, but you usually need a larger mic to get a nicer clean signal.

  • @AgressiveElevatorMusic

Hey Jonah, I know you said this mic is light but does the length require more grip strength to hold? I’m out here playing 3 hour gigs every weekend and will take any edge I can get.
I ask because I have bad tendonitis in my wrists specifically when in comes to grip. I currently use a Hohner Harp Blaster for reference.

    • @HarmonicaRevolution

It doesn’t require a lot of grip strength. I also have bad hands, so I hear your concerns. This one feels OK to me. However, there are smaller and lighter mics. Tiny lavaliere mics can often sound pretty decent on harp, as an example.

I use a Ricci mic frequently for extended sessions. It’s easy to hold, and is pretty lightweight. I wrapped thick rubber band around the grip lip, so it requires very little grip to hold. It’s really easy to cup and is great to use with pedals.
