Makes me wonder how many interconnecting intros are in this game, so far this and the reptile's confusion of the phrase "he's a beast" only stood out for me

I didn't think it is about him being afraid. I thought the question is just "Why?". Because why would Reptile watch ANY movie? First of all, I thought he is wondering why it is Predator. Maybe because they are alike in some ways. For example, going invisible. I thought Reptile asked in that meaning

You know, ever since the trailers hinted that Johnny was genuinely impressed by Reptile's abilities, I wondered if they would end up good friends to the point of this timeline's Cassie Cage growing up seeing Syzoth as an honorary uncle.
@@tronus571 The best one been Baraka and Reptile end up been like a sort of friends and bash brothers by the of the game. That is really wholesome as well too.

100%. Bowen does not get enough credit. His ability to make Johnny both unrepentant douchebag but still believable and likeable as a hero, and his progression from there to father in the last timeline is absolutely superb.
