Back in the 1970s, Jesse Helms was a commentator on WRAL in Raleigh, NC. He said that, if he were in DC, he would never vote for a number of things. He was drafted to run, he won, and he was in the House for decades. He always voted the way he promised. But to make him look bad, the Democrats would always put one of those things he wouldn't vote for in every bill. And he would vote against them as he promised, even though it meant voting against something good at the same time.
How are people like this in a position of power if he can't explain his position?
This isn't really even a partisan issue. It's an issue of the judicial system enforcing the rule of law.
I’m just speechless listening to a judge that cannot say “yes” or “no.”
Almost everyone that the Republicans have brought before them in hears about our security and border that Democrats have elected can’t or won’t give a yes or no answer!!! I think the Republicans should ask them if they understand that they are going to prison if they don’t answer Yes or No! so Yes or No ? But in reality it’s all just a show! When I was around 8 or 10 years old my Dad took me to a professional wrestling match. And those two men looked like they were beating each other to death. After the matches were over my Dad took me into the back to introduce me to one of the wrestlers and the two that were beating each other to death were back there laughing and joking around and patting each other on the back !!! And that’s what I think about every time I watch one of these hearings!!!!

@@steve746227 I lived that same experience! It was the 80's and I had only watched wrestling on TV. My Dad took me to see a minor event in a medium-sized town nearby. Since it was a smaller town and none of the matches mattered, so it was like practice for them. For the first time I could see that they were not even hitting each other. They would also stomp the mat to make is sound like a hit. I never watched wrestling again.
The last few years I've thought about that a lot... The politicians have always been faking and have always been friends. With the internet now we can see more than one angle, and we know they practice before the camera is turned on, and it's just a big "show" to keep us amused.
At the beginning of "MASK FEVER" when the one reporter took off her mask when she thought the cameras were off, I was that 8-year-old again.
