Here is my Point of View from the Archon match from yesterday!
I believe that we got better with the communication throughout the games and I think we can do better in this hectic gamemode, if we play more games like these.
I think everyone had fun playing so i hope we can play more of these in the near future : )
If you want to catch these things happen live or want to support me make sure to check out my twitch channel at : www.twitch.tv/lamboking - Hry
serral's constant indignation cracks me up hahaha
Top one player: I'll be the creep guy
Did you see how good their creep spread was tho
Cause simple mistakes likes creep destroy all the micro the lings needs
I dont know who is who
i like that joke
honestly its good
So SERRAL was the creep guy, this explains so much after watching Lowko's casting
The group dynamic here is priceless and the skill level is through the roof! Please do more!
Check out Harstems perspective, it’s pure gold
I liked Harstems perspective more. I might be biased though since in Game 1 they had 3/4 guys raising and lowering their 1st supply depot while one guy was macroing xD. They even played rock paper scissors for the 1st reaper control. xD
I respectfully disagree, these pros are all immensely talented, I don't doubt that at all, and maybe this just didn't live up to how exciting I pictured it in my head, essentially a game where the macro could be maintained to perfection while each separate and often simultaneous micro event was executed as well as could be done. I imagined both teams playing so close to their theoretical potential, without needing to switch screens or deal pull focus but it seems like they've worked against each other a lot. I wrote this comment above and I'm going to link it here. It seems to me when they're dealing with a couple troops like harassing or scouting they do fine but once they get their armies going they fight for control of them, sometimes its 2 groups of lings split between 3 people which doesn't work, what I'm trying to say is this format so could be so much more with some better cohesion and more impulse control.
My original comment on this video:
It's shocking to see people who are so good at this game, like a fundamental understanding of all the intricacies, who are so absurdly bad at splitting up the focus and letting each person take care of something, theoretically this could immensely boost performance compared to one person but it seems like the sum of these pros is worse than any of the individually, they work against each other so often and are all so eager to be doing something even when there isn't anything to do and they are all fighting to be the one to do whatever they perceive as the most interesting. I would love to see this format played at the top level and have amazingly cohesive teams, that would be amazing to watch but this seemed worse than watching 1v1 pros go at it. Still entertaining nonetheless.
Sometimes Serral sounds like a mad Italian or Luigi...
22:41 "Liings, Liings, what the helle?"
Hahaahahah
He sounds more italian than Reynor lol
@@hadriewyn thats because the stereotype of italians speaking english is quite off from the reality. for instance, in family guy italians sound more spanish to me (yes, im italian). i know we make some sounds wrong, but in a different way than the stereotype
When I played RS2 on Finnish server people talking in Finnish language in voice chat sounded insanely Italian or Spanish. I guess these languages just sound similar.
So this is what happens when you put 4 of the top Zerg players in the world onto the same team...
You get a huge philosophical discussion about where to place the first creep tumor.
I love how lambo was having so much fun in the 2nd game with the single ling in the terran main while all the ovies on the map were getting sniped by vikings and supply blocking the team.
Bot vikings, A viking.
Before matches: “ this is going to be the craziest micro ever”
During matches: “ this is the biggest clusterfuck ever”
I'm only three minutes in, and I'm in tears laughing because I watched this from Harstem's perspective the other night, and one of them said something about the Zerg players theorycrafting minute things while they were goofing off and raising and lowering depots. XD I'm a Zerg player and most of my favorites are on this side, so I'm looking forward to watching it.
I came here after watching Lowko's casting. This was hilarious!
I love Lowko. He got me into SC2 during HotS.
You lost the first few because they had top notch supply depot micro
9:30 "this is Kevin, this is 100% harstem controlling he's losing too much" sure enough haha
Yoona got a promotion from 3 queens to the main army:" it is a really small army to play with."
I love how the best player on the planet says he'll spread the creep, then you look at the creep and it's amazing XD
Serral: I'll spread the creep
Everyone: wut?
Serral: I'll be the creep guy
Whats better than a two man Archon? A Zerg Master Race. Its like 4 cerebrate zerg. I can even hear the Overmind screeching.
I come from harstem, and I think I'll stay a while :)
Same. Excited to go through this channel since Lambo is such a brainy player.
I found the moyai

Serral's voice is so beautiful
Really epic!
It's actually quite balanced, because The zerg team have better skill but worse communication and cooperation...
And one of the players (Elazer?) constantly asks "who does this?" , "who does that?", "what about this?" (etc.) rather than listening and being proactive. It was painful at times. hah
Tbh being proactive (aggressive) seems way easier in Archon mode than being reactive (defensive). The terrans could clearly say "I'll do the banshees/hellions" while the zergs constantly have to decide who defends what with what because they have to share their defensive forces.
If you watch the Terran POV their just making jokes. And in the first round 3dudes played with a supply debut.
I noticed this too, I wrote this comment on this video but I'll copy it below:
It's shocking to see people who are so good at this game, like a fundamental understanding of all the intricacies, who are so absurdly bad at splitting up the focus and letting each person take care of something, theoretically this could immensely boost performance compared to one person but it seems like the sum of these pros is worse than any of the individually, they work against each other so often and are all so eager to be doing something even when there isn't anything to do and they are all fighting to be the one to do whatever they perceive as the most interesting. @@bencheevers6693 Who would have guessed that pro players from a 1v1 game don't have good teamwork...
Also I believe it's harder to share the Zerg race.
Wow, I thoroughly enjoyed the content. Plz do MORE! :D
Serral hella funny lmao
holy shit this a tournament of this with coordinated teams would actually be amazing to watch
I saw the replay @ Lowko. Fun to first see the game with full overview @ Lowko. Then to see it from Ter side @ Harstem and from Zerg side @ Lambo
So so so so great content! Please do more, it's the freaking best!
This is the best thing i've ever seen lol
I'm telling you archon mode would make sc2 blow up if blizzard had brains
@@nobod354 They tried long time ago but no1 was interested, Could become a thing now but would it blowup sc2?! No, not even close, still fun though
iv tried zerg archon its incredibly hard. terran is definitely the best for archon
They should make a reynor annoucer pack "Don't toucha my creep!" "ok ok ok they are pushing" ect.
This was so fun to watch. If only you could have 400 supply, could make for truly epic games (but imba ofc)
You're all pretty chill so you weren't arguing, but it was still pretty every-man-for-himself. I know this was just casual, but if you really want to be effective, I think someone has to be the one who gives orders in crisis situations. Not to decide everything, but while there's multi-pronged fighting I think there *has* to be one person who can say "you runby, you defend this base, you make a round of hydras", otherwise you're too slow and disjointed, and groups of units will be idling in a corner, and the right units won't get made.
I feel like Harstems team was better organized
@@Kriogenic_PixelMan Harstem was actually giving orders to his team, whereas this team didn't seem to have a leader.
What is better than a 3 prong attack?
A 6 prong
I cant tell if serral is being sarcastic or not when he says "thats the play, i copy that move" 00:02:48
I was wondering the same thing. I think he is being sincere but im not sure.
@@rosscockburn318 obviously sarcastic, since he continue with "next year maybe".
Was he joking about dropping a tumor near the main?
They are doing plays in the middle !!!! Serral is hillarious, I love it !
That was some beautiful chaos :D
Amazing! :) Please more, and win another time ;) My soul is zergy ;)
Good shit. Very entertaining.
that was a godly cast. I have enjoyed it thoroughly
This is just the best thing!
9:45 He was absolutely right
Pretty cool, seemed like you guys do much better when you communicated when you were switching to drones, and to units
I’ve seen this from now this perspective, Harstems perspective, and Lowkos perspective, I am the ultimate observer
Serral is actually savage lmao, the worst is that he is actually speaking his mind not just trolling LOL
I watched Harstem's pov of this first and just knew the Z perspective would probably be pretty funny
9:37 "this is 100% harstem controllin,g hes losing too much"
It actually was harstem xD
Lol this is hilarious!! mor of this please !:D
TIL Serral is the son of the Hydraulic Press channel guy.
What chaos, i love it.
This game was like... holy shit guys Morpheus is fighting Neo!!!
Que buen vídeo!
Serrels voice is hilarious when he starts getting irate and frustrated hahaha!
Came from the Terran stream, the Zergs are their own worst enemies.
"that was depressing" - Serral hahahah
this is comedy gold
Yoooo.
This video is so awesome.
Einfach dein macro gameplay..
atoilet
34:30 The poor Zergling :(
Its so cool how all the top EU players are tight as hell
8:35 itsa me mario accent hitting hard
14:20 perfectly sniped
gg
cool das du sowas machst
MOOOTASSE
I want to see a Serral versus Clem, Kelazhur, Soul and Harstem match.
I played a practice game together with soul as terran archon versus serral and we won relatively easily. You can't realistically deal with a Terran archon as a single zerg.
@@LamboSC2 In a rematch, what would you guys do differently? Or did it come down to the (relatively) poor communication at the beginning?
U ARE THE BEST
18:52 it was diego on both lambro
This group is the funniest.. so hard to manage zerg archon
Oh sweaty balls!! 00:42:53
You should try doing an archon match vs alphastar
Heeeliooons!!!
Upload casts and ladder games like Harstem.
i like the way Reynoy backchats serral lol
subbed :)
Was it special offering extra hands? The voice it sounds like special
Call Artosis and hatless and get them to cast one of these =D
Die Mauer is actually showtime I think
''Dont worry im the queen''
DieMauer = Showtime right? cuz they say reynor to DieMauer... explain pls :p
Showtime is Die Mauer, but he's not playing here. Reynor is using an account named DieMauer.
13:46 lmao
terran team have good teamplay. zerg its panic mode :D
Which voice is whoo? Who's the indian sounding guy? I guess i heard an italian accent that was Reynor i suppose
@Qimodis Yeah it was him I'd have never guessed that :D
Man zerg is a lot stronger when more people can scout with the opening lings and terran is a lot stronger when they have multiple people controlling multiprong harass.
It's funny, it almost actually seems like they're doing decent from this perspective. Other views and they got stomped first game.
19:30 top zerg finally said it, hope some salty terrans stumble unto this lol.
I dont understand why the best player on the team was being blown off for the first 2 rounds of the game. Maybe I just dont know group dynamics but...
serral voice funny lmao
Serral is funny as fuck hahaha
Do T v P archon next time.
1v1v1 3 man archon with special

4 people playing the Zerg? This is the way. 😄
True Overmind. Guess no one would ever beat you in tournament by playing solo.
This looked like they just threw it together for fun. If they were really trying they would plan more ahead of time and one person would lead and give orders. If you watch the Harstem stream for this same game, you can hear Harstem providing leadership and it makes a HUGE difference:
czcams.com/video/8GPupD6wP_o/video.html
The problem with this Zerg team is obviously that nobody is in charge and thinking about the top level strategy.
@@Qichar I watch all of Harstem's content, he's a wizard and really entertaining, you're exactly right that the difference was night and day compared to the Zerg who got dumpstered.
Obviously dividing up the tasks to 4 individuals who have less gamestate information by design is weakening.
@@oldoddjobs They all have the same information, they have even more information than is available to a single player because they can fully focus on their task while periodically glancing at the map rather than having their attention divided all over the place, I think they were playing silly for fun rather than actually giving it a solid try.
Archon mode is a quite unexplored zone of Starcraft 2. Also this, more or less, confirms the theory Terran is the best race.
or certainly that it has the greatest potential to pressure other races by far
nah, it's all based on the teamwork and co-op skills of the players.
@@WilliamOsborneKappa It might depend on how many players as well. Adding players to Terran gives you more simultaneous drops, but there's only so much you can split up mutas while keeping them potent. Zerg would benefit a lot from a guy full-time on muta control.
for a race that is supposed to have a hive mind there's quite the communication problem
i'm going back to Haarstem pov. it was less frustrating :)
playing banes against an enemy that can micro a lot is terrible, imo
imagine roasting the best player in the world for bad macro lol
Bist du nich Deutscher?
jo, bin ich
Zerg gameplay is too quick for Archon mode. Too many quick decision, hit, hit, pulls. Verbalizing is too slow for that. Usually, Zerg units are more expendable in exchange for the other player's time and attention or reasonable trades. At least that's how I play Zerg.
haven't watched yet. My guess is terran benefits more from archon because they are more underperforming their race than zerg, who is already maxing out what the race can do.
nailed that call.
