Sorry to say Vosk, my opinion is crypto if your roi is more that 2 years is a big posibility that you will never roi. And on hdd roi is over 7 years+ if the newtork stay the same when altcoins bull run is better to buy the coin because hdd mining is espensive. This is just for fun not to make money!
i jut buy harddrives and use plotting cloud to make the plots then download them to the harddrive.. i like that i can specify what pool i want to use.. i looked into evergreen but its stuck at the one pool.

Such as, what does it actually take to “DIY” a Chia mining rig, what’s involved, why is it so expensive, what is the specialized equipment needed? Also, I am assuming that the hard drives fill up over time? Or am I wrong at that? If they do fill up up, what do you do with once they are? Do you just format them and start over again? Or am how I am thinking this works all wrong?
