- Hello lovelies. I have been getting questions about whether or not I ever use perfume oils. I was lucky enough to have some perfume oils from the Canadian company Oil Perfumery - the sister company of Oakcha - send me some oils to try out for you guys. They have their own original creations as well as inspired fragrances based on super high end designer and niche fragrances. My overall impression: they're worth checking out!

As you mentioned a few times that you don’t like applying the oils as it is, you can use add ethanol and make it a regular spray. For 10 ml you can easily use 50-60 ml ethanol since they’re pretty strong. It doesn’t reduce the projection. In fact, adding ethanol will help it project better and give more silage. I learnt it from a perfumer who makes these perfume oils.

@@prachisharmaaa I really want to attempt this but having never smelled an oil from these places like oil perfumery I'd hate to get it & then the oil is a cheap, synthetic mess. She does make oud wood sound good, though
I have the one that’s inspired by baccarat rouge extrait and it lasts forever !!!!!!!! I can still smelll it on clothes days after.
Al Haramain Oud Rouge smell like baccarat rouge and it last days on my cloths.
I do prefer spraying my perfume too, but with these oils I can start collecting and trying popular scents without spending like $80+ per bottle. They don’t last that long on me, but I don’t mind carrying it around since it’s travel size. Great review! I think I’ll try Santal Blush and Love by Killian! 😊
how long would you say it takes to use up one roller of 10mls?
I've collected almost 30 bottles from Oil Perfumery over the years and the only issue I have is, the oils turn "rancid" in about two years. So, try to use up your purchases long before that. I went through three bottles of Baccarat 540 in no time. It's a deliciously sweet version of it. Also, if there's anyone interested in getting "Tuxedo", their version is way better than the OG. It's fresher with a hint of sweetness. Amazing juice!
Lol. You do realize that perfume’s shelf life is 2 years right
@@AbbyliciouzChannel perfume oils are different than traditional perfumes, the shelf oil is much much longer. I’ve personally never had one go bad, and some brands even claim that the scent gets more intense with time.
I have been told that they need to be stored in a dark, cool, dry place for longer preservation

@@cloudyair7395 All depends on how much you like the fragrance and how often you want to use it. For me, I used up the BR540 in about two months.

I've ordered a few times from he Oil Perfumery and was very pleased with
their products. The scents I've used from them are about as close to the
originals as you can get.
Good video! You can use the perfume oils to layer on the body. Then spray the original perfume on top. This adds to the longevity of the fragrance.

@Riz P hi ☺️. I did! I bought 4, none of which I have ever smelled the actual perfume so don’t have anything to compare it to scent wise. I’m very picky about scents ☺️. My fav out of the 4 was Rolling in love by Killian. I might buy one I’ve smelled the actual perfume before to do a comparison. Let me know if you it which you like 🙂💚

I’ve heard of people layering the Molecule 01 oil and their fragrance choice oil and it’s like BOOM projection and performance. I’m in the process of ordering Molecule 01, Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia, and Crees Aventus for Her.

ooh how was the Roja???? This exceptional perfume lines costs $1500 NZ a trow here. They were that good I was actually tempted.
thanx for the review i just order 4 oils 2 days ago , aventus , ADG Purfomu , D&G light blue, Sauvage , am glad you said they are spot on , i was afraid the smell is not spot and won't last , here in my country there are alot of knock off's , they smell 70% similar and they last for 15minuts , i wanted to order from exoticfragrances or CAperfumes but they don't ship internationally , exoticfragrances they sell the 29ml oil for 5$ and 110ml for 13$ is this possible ? so cheap
I just bought the black opium and hot couture which are my all time favourite perfumes. Will update with the comparison and length of wear when I get them.

I love their oils. I have a collection and never disappointed.
Are there any of the men's fragrances that are actually spot on? Most of the reviews on their products are pretty good but you can never tell if those are paid for & made by the company themselves lol

These work well for me because the alcohol in fragrance sprays breaks my skin out.

Try Royal Water instead, it is a sparkling sophisticated citrus.
Just got my package, fr them, 2 days ago. They r pretty good scents but sadly, i don't find them that long lasting on me 😔 but at least the packaging is convenient enough to carry around to re-apply. Also, i think i prefer perfume sprays, too, so u can spray everywhere 😊. I think I'll try Oakcha out, next 😊
Actually I think that's the point of perfume oils, to not last that long. It's for those who just want a refresher and can't stand the intense smell of a regular perfume. You can enhance your perfume by applying the oil as well, but it won't last that long by itself.
Spray the matching your perfume on top of the oils for the best longevity.
You might need to layer with Molecule for that beast effect
Same. I just received an oil perfumery scent by Theiry Mugler and it didn't smell very good to Me , wasnt pleasant, and didn't last long. Was disappointing (i checked the reviews, but had an opposite experience). But may try another scent.
@@tinaj9621 i checked the reviews before my purchase too, only bought what was highly rated. I have decided perfume oil is not for me, so i am not buying anymore. Hope you'll find something you'll like, in your next buy with them :)
Ypu can layer that perfume oil to your spray perfume to give it a new scent

I have to say I no longer have the oils but in hindsight, they all smelled VERY similar, like 97%. Very good dupe house:)

@@imnosy965 I like love don’t be shy, I bought this oil version without knowing and still not knowing how the true love don’t be shy smells, this fragrance goes along way and too much applied can be almost over powering, it’s extremely sweet to the point I felt nauseas, but in moderation I think I can really learn how to work w this fragrance because it’s extremely unique and sweet and is perfect for occasions.
I can't believe portrait of a Lady didn't last! That shit is potent and is headache inducing.

@@aprilmartian5837I didn't like Good Girl Gone Bad and Roses Greedy. They were too sharp for me. Rolling in Love was good and also Baccarat Rouge extrait was good too. Hope this helps!

@@darlal2698 i ordered the baccarat rouge extrait as well, it’s great! literally the most long lasting perfume i’ve every purchased. i was recently going through my closet and i found a dress i had tried on thanksgiving 2020 and hadn’t worn since, it still smelled like the perfume. the fragrance itself is nice, it’s very unique but also classy. i’ve only briefly smelled the original baccarat rouge and i haven’t purchased it, but as far as i remember it does smell exactly like it. on the actual website the reviews say the same, it should be identical if not nearly so

You shouldn’t keep them so close to the lit candle. Oil and fire is not safe.

Oil Perfumery is a rip off. Slow shipping, expensive considering the product does not last 2 hours. I purchased the Oud Satin Mood. Very, very light fragrance. Not worth the hype.
Maybe your nose is weird. My oils from them last all day and project like crazy.

I bought 3 bottles and one was Hypnotic Poison and it doesn't last at all. I can't even smell it on my wrists and barely in my hair. So I have to apply all day long. The Neroli seems to be doing better.
At the end of the day it’s an impression . And it depends entirely on your skin
