But it seems the lesson wasn't learned with leaving out key players, and moving players into unfamiliar positions during this game in 2007 because NZ did it again in 2019 and didn't make the finals.

However as a Bok fan, I was very disappointed with Luke McCallister, he had ample opportunity to do a drop goal before his last-ditch attempt! The ABs were camped out just outside the French 22 for almost the last 10 minutes, what on earth, brilliant drop goal time!
