I haven't watched all of this one yet but had to say hi & soooo glad things are getting back to normal for you there. I remember Hurricane Charlie when I lived in FL...in August I think? Anyway it was brutally hot & we were without power 10 days...and I also worked at the local co-op (power company) & yeah ppl were not nice at all. Anyway your bright colorful canvas is so enjoyable to watch come to life! Great dp-ing!
Good morning! Yes! Losing power is MISERABLE in this heat. It’s one of those things you remember for sure. We were very fortunate that our power was back on after about 10hrs. Still some without power. Thank you so much for your support!! ❤️

Wi-Fi is the home network, internet is the connection to the outside. So your router can be working fine but it needs the internet connection to work for connection to the world. This is why I have burned my movie and tv show collection on to hard drives. So if we have an internet outage my kids can still stream video from my home computer to their devices via Wi-Fi in the house. If there is power and the computer is on, they have stuff to watch using appletv units until internet gets restored. so keep in mind the difference. Internet connection allows connection to the world. Wi-Fi is just the home network that acts like a bridge within your home to share that internet connection on all your devices. The router doesn’t need internet to setup that bridge in the home.
Ah I see! That makes sense!!! Years - and I do mean YEARS - ago I downloaded Big Blue Planet (I think that’s the name) series and that’s my go to when I can’t watch anything else. It puts me to sleep.

Hello. I’m on my second round of your videos. You remind me of home Louisiana. I moved to Kansas with my first husband. God only know why lol. Never got to move back. I’m glad now 21 years ago I found my soul mate here in Kansas. I’m 59 have two girls 38 and 36.

I love Kansas! I haven’t really explored the state in full but have been through there many times. I think it’s beautiful and the people are so friendly. I would imagine, coming from Louisiana, you probably miss the food though.

@@singleandplacing most of the dishes I love are tofu. I’m not a vegetarian but I LOVE tofu when it’s prepared correctly. They have 2 tofu dishes that are pure heaven. One is stir fried with lemongrass. I don’t know what they marinate it in but dang! It’s good. The other one is also a lemongrass but a sauce with onions. They also add red chili peppers and I’m a wuss so I have to ask for no peppers. It’s still spicy though. I’ve also had their chargrilled shrimp. AHmazing! Spring rolls and egg rolls are both wonderful. The first dish I had there was tofu fried rice. And it was the best fried rice I ever had. It’s my understanding the family is from central Vietnam which may explain why some of the dishes I’ve not seen anywhere else. People also rave about their pho but I haven’t tried it yet. It’s hard for me to eat soups when it’s so hot out.
