- Hi, everyone! In this video, I show you more details of the Berenguer La Baby doll that I recently customized, and talk about what draws me to lifelike manufactured dolls. This doll, in her original form, is available from Amazon. The cloth body I used was purchased from MacPherson Crafts.

I love to see you’re enjoying the custom Berenguer dolls too!❤️ This is why I’ve been sharing them on my channel, to help others find them and enjoy them! I’m loving them for a lot of the same reasons you are and also for me, I love that even my daughter who is still a toddler can enjoy them with me and I don’t have to worry at all about them getting damaged. We get to enjoy them together and that makes them even more special!
Thank you, Tori! Yes, that's a beautiful thing that I also love about my beautiful manufactured sweeties! I can share them with little nieces, nephews, and cousins, or friends' children, without worrying at all! It's just magical to watch a child you love enjoy a doll that you and they can both love. Takes me right back to getting to hold and cuddle a family friend's Lee Middleton's when I was just six years old. My mom was worried I would accidentally hurt them, but I was so enchanted! Her friend understood that and seemed to enjoy putting baby after baby into my arms. I was in dollie heaven! Now I love sharing the same joy!

Loved seeing your sweet baby girl, Naomi. I really enjoyed your topic today. This is something I have mentioned on my channel about Paradise Galleries dolls, especially, my Dallas. I never feel like I have to be extra careful when handling them. I took Dallas to Dollar Tree the other day and just put him in the cart, not worrying if his legs might rub off paint etc. There is something really enjoyable with handling dolls that I am not worried about damaging. You are right, it makes it so fun. I love my reborns and there are some that I handle more than others.

My reborn dolls after time look bad and I have Gouchin I paid three hundred for and his paint is already rubbing off so I don't do anything with him my Amazon Mila,and Maddie , and Sandie I feel I can do more with and at a substantial lower cost as I am on social security and three hundred is a lot but I am gonna get a berengeur and follow in your footsteps ❤ this video and enjoy your company my sweet dolly friend 😊

Thanks for the video! I have been having major dolly fever lately and just got a Behringer law baby today. I need to order the body and I’m waiting on some waiting materials to come in and then I will definitely customize my new doll! I definitely think these would be really fun gifts to give an older child that is still interested in Dolls.
Do you find that the 22 inch body is a good size for this doll? I’m trying to decide if I should order the 20 inch or the 22 inch body.
Yes, these babies would make wonderful dolls for older children, or therapy dolls for anyone of almost any age. I do really like the 22-inch body, but I think you could easily do either. I happen to love bigger babies with longer limbs, and i felt that on her original body, she seemed rather short and squat. I also feel the 22-inch is a good size for her head. Tori of Tori's Reborn Babies has also customized Berenguers this way, though, and she used the 20-inch body, so it's just a matter of what you like. Happy customizing! 😊

Im w ya nicole tbh i dont know that ill be buying anymore reborns, id like too but im not seeing what im looking for and thats impt given the prices which im a limited budget so that doesnt help and i dont wanna be scammed either. So sorry you were scammed ive been scammed plenty too
My fave berenguer face is the chubby one with the big blue eyes and puckered kind of lips and the 2 little teeth im sure youve seen it. Heres another perk: very easily and affordably twinable:)

Very tempted to get Naomi a twin sibling too, especially if I can find the adorable face you mentioned! That's one I haven't come across yet. I know I will be adding at least one more reborn, because I already have and love the kit. After that... well, I'm enjoying manufactured dolls a lot! And you're so right that price is a huge factor!

Its a sad say when 1000 wont buy much, add to that being in a high tax bracket and shipping and its more like 1200. I agree! Durability has also become hugely important to me, so in most cases, if I'm going to spend money for dolls, I want to be able to do whatever I want with them within reason once I have them. It's not that I don't appreciate and value the artwork. I also understand that artists have to live too, just like everybody else, and literally everything has skyrocketed. It's just that the changing economy and my own changing life circumstances have changed how much I'm willing to invest. I think I'd like to look into finding the adorable Berenguer face you mentioned! Is it still being produced? And if so, do you know which doll or doll line it belongs to?
Where did you get the 1/4 limb body? I have the 20” berenguers too!
I was able to weight them in the hands and feet, and body and it worked fairly well
Hi! I got this body from MacPherson's. It's a pretty nice one, and not too expensive. They have a few different sizes of it too. I did opt for the slightly bigger 22-inch, but I think their 20-inch would also fit. Hope this helps!
Nicole how much would you charge to modify?
Right now, I'm not willing to take money to do this, because of how limited my time is and because so very, very much can go wrong. I made customized dolls in the past, and that ended in a terrible heartbreaking experience that I don't think I can risk repeating. It's not difficult to do, though, and I'm very happy to offer a more in-depth look at the process for Berenguer or other typs of manufactured dolls. I also think Tori of Tori's Reborn Babies sells some modified dolls from time to time. I hope this helps, and I'm really sorry.
