I grew up in Fairhope, you'll love Foley . The lower half of Baldwin County is basically one big city now !

Thanks for the video. We are visiting Orange Beach in June. I was going to purchase a tarp or canopy for our family. However....we have been told only umbrellas are allowed. We were planning on walking right outside our condo onto the beach and setting up. Do you know of such restrictions? Thanks so much!
I hadn't heard of those restrictions, I see canopi on the beach, I spend most of my beach time in Pensacola Beach but that would be strange if they had that rule. Have a great trip!!

Pay to park usually have the best facilities in my opinion
It's worth it, I love having bathrooms nearby so I don't have to run to a gas station or something

They are both touristy areas so prices are likely similar, and both have so much to do!

Both the Hilton Garden Inn and The Lodge at the Gulf State Park, a Hiltom Hotel in Gulf Shores have access to beach

They are both lovely!! I probably would pick Gulf Shores Orange Beach though for lots of variety! You probably can't go wrong 😀

When is the best time of the year to go?
I love April and October for sure!! But depends if you love hot weather or ok with temperate !! Its a lovely area overall
Wait to access public beach you have to pay?
Yes most of the beaches have pay lots. If you park at hangout and eat lunch there they will cover the parking at least they did when we were there
@@GulfCoastGirl I see it’s not admission to access beach it’s parking but if you walk over to the beach 🏝️ there’s no charge

This area is beautiful water too, when we have storms anywhere along the coast the water is not as pretty it gets stirred up but mostly its heavenly :)

I was wondering the same. Btw in y’all honest opinion, is Orange Beach like staying at Turqouise Place or gulf shore like renting a beach house, more “luxurious” as far as the area?
Trying to decide between Orange or Gulf but we haven’t been to either. We are use to Rosemary and PCB area. Thanks for your help!

Yes vlogging them yes and Carnival Libery and Carnival Conquest, in Feb we have another cruise on NCL Encore which I had wanted to go on but was a covid cancel back in the day, we are getting excited 😊

Lived in So. AL 67 years. Gulf Shores is more for families and older adults. If your under 30 and looking for a party, this is not the place for you. Most rentals have age limits of 25-30 to rent including hotels, and its not cheap. No alcohol on beaches until spring breaks are over, leave your thong/skimpy swim suits, drugs, entitled attitude at home, this can get you ticketed/arrested.

I agree the parking is definitely a challenge in that area, I wish we didn't have to pay either
