One of the most 80's - 90's Influenes ,The Style Council.
Not my cup of tea but The Jam were absolutely brilliant.
I'm from the USA and discovered " The Style Council " back in 1984. When I first heard " Everchanging Moods." Which was played on MTV back in the day.
Great band sometimes overlooked or forgotten here in the States but these guys had 15 singles and a couple of them hit U>S> airplay. My Ever Changing moods and You're the best thing were on college radio and WXRt in Chicago back then. I wish Paul Weller was a big star in America but his genious is at home in Britain God bless him. Way to hold up the British end Paul Weller.

From the jam to style council Weller was right to decide to move on if the jam continued with the style council material it wouldn’t of worked being a 3 piece and doing different styles and different musicians jam fans just would not of accepted such a shift in sound and style and more than Paul Bruce and Rick on stage
